Some Attorney's are obviously out for their own best interest. My experience with Mitchell Wong was quite different. He came across caring and compassionate for the best interest of our family. I would not hesitate in the future to work with him.

He got back to me, so that's good. But he doesn't know what he's talking about and wouldn't listen to the facts.

I usually never review, and if I do it, it’s mainly on great things, but I had to share, if I could give 0 stars I would. Mitchell Wong, was hired by my ex about September of last year because we didn’t have time to deal with the divorce paperwork, he took his money and has been ridiculously hard to reach. He never picks up the phone, never replies text messages, it has been almost a year and we are still married. Please note that this is an amicable separation. We are both in agreement and have been the whole time, yet, we are having issues because of his lawyer. Anyway, if you wanna save money and time stay away from Mitchell Wong.

Mitchell is a very patient and knowledgeable divorce attorney who truly does care about his clients. My divorce started in November 2019 and we just got it settled this week through no fault on our side. Mitchell has been the voice of reason throughout the process for me. He has always informed me of my options and made sure that I was clear on how Hawaii Family Court processes work. I truly don't believe that I would be where I am today without him and I want to say thank you so much Mitchell from the bottom of my heart!

My daughter needed a TRO and at the last minute I decided to hire an attorney to represent her since we were going to be away for my mother's funeral on the mainland and I wanted someone here on island to appear in court on her behalf while she was appearing on zoom. I called one attorney and he offered to represent her for a flat rate, but I didn't get a good feeling from him (think scheisty), so I gave Mitchell a call. He was way more approachable and made me feel comfortable from that first call. He also charged a flat rate, because it seemed like it was going to be straightforward and simple and I felt that it was a fair price. Now after representing my daughter against an atrocious opposing counsel, I'm sure he will carefully screen his next TRO client...the opposing counsel was very weird and would file motions and carry on with excessive emails back and forth, then the court stuck to what was stated in the first place. I'm sure if he were to bill me per hour, we would have exceeded the flat rate amount. Mitchell was very kind to my daughter, explained things to her in ways she could understand, and represented her very well. I hope you never need to hire a lawyer, but if you find yourself needing one, I highly recommend him!

Never picks up the phone. Trying to reach out to him for several weeks with no call back and both voice inboxes not set up. Talk about unprofessional

I hired Mitchell Wong for my divorce. I submitted a complete and signed packet sometime in February 2023. I’ve been trying to get hold of him to find out the status of my divorce. I just need to know if everything’s correct but I Never heard a single word from him. I’m not sure if our decree was filed or not because he did not return any of my call or reply to any of my messages. I hired him based on the reviews that i read from here. I hope I did not make a mistake or got mislead for hiring him. I’m dying To hear from him about the status of my divorce. It’s an uncontested divorce. It should be easy. I paid $2,500.

Mr.Wong was not only the cheapest I could find but did his best to work set sort notice and very little evidence from me to work on. He managed to help me get my restraining order granted and help me protect my 3 little ones. I’ll forever appreciate his kindness and understanding. He really knows what he’s doing and it shows.

Mr.Mitchell wong is a seasoned lawyer with years of experience. He is super empathetic and patient in the work he does with his clients. During my TRO case and Paternity case he was able to help supply me with me with as much advice as he could. He was quick on paperwork and has a litany of knowledge to back his experience. Mr. Wong was not only affordable and available, but was the best lawyer I had ever experienced. He is highly educated and well spoken, however he is able to put Lawyer jargon into words and phrases that the common person can understand. He completely saved my butt in TRO court, which he was able to completely resolve for me, but even stalled for me when I showed up late. The first time I met him even the security guard at his office was singing his praises. He is a very very kind man who was able to handle my raw emotions and outbursts. Hopefully I will never need his services ever again but if I did he is the first and only person I would call!!

I hired Mitchell to do the near impossible and he got the job done for my family. Here is my story. My husband had a falsely premised bogus restraining order placed against him by a competing independent contractor and Mitchell got a restraining order terminated which is a nearly impossible thing to do. Mitchell has always, and continues to be very responsive. He is down to earth. He is not pretentious. It's like visiting/working with a friend who happens to be a professional you need. He maintains very fair and accommodative pricing.

He is the worst attorny on the island, don’t hire him if you have a good case. He took my money when signing the retaining contract, he breached his own contract before the case was over, never heard from him and he ignored my calls. Had to hire another attorney to finish my case.
