I cannot say enough positive things about Mitizi Johnson Theodore as a mediator. While the final mediation agreement was not exactly what I had hoped for, she once again succeeded in resolving a case involving an extremely difficult opposing party—something that truly speaks to her skill and experience. Mitizi is strategic, composed, and highly effective under pressure. She understands when to push, when to listen, and how to keep negotiations moving forward even in the most challenging circumstances. While I did have to give on some points, her guidance helped me avoid a costly and emotionally draining trial. In the end, mediation was far preferable to spending $10,000 and facing what would have been my worst day in court. I sincerely hope I never have to go through mediation again—but if you find yourself needing one, I strongly recommend using her. She is exceptional at what she does, and her ability to reach resolution where others cannot is impressive.

I was nervous leading up to the hearing. Even after having acquired Mitzi to represent me. As I sat in the courtroom listening to all of the hearings I was getting even more nervous. Mitzi approached me and told me that we would "wait to see if the prosecutor would show up then we could go from there." When my name was called I walked up to the bench beside Mitzi. Sure enough the prosecutor was there. When the judge reviewed my folder he looked up at Mitzi and said it looks like we're getting a dismissal pending paying the court costs! Wow! Terrible! She will file everything she can without going to court. Once that’s done she will drop your case and leave you high and dry. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Look elsewhere for quality legal services.
