Giving 2 stars because a ER medical bill i had from my work injury was never paid even though Montoya Law said they would send it over to the adjuster and get it taken care of. NOW I'm in collections. My case was resolved but this bill came way before my case settled & I made sure they had the er bill before settling. Disappointed.

PLEASE READ;If you're dealing with a workers' comp case and already having a tough time, reconsider choosing this office as they make things harder. Do yourself a favor and find another attorney. I regret not paying attention to negative reviews before hiring them. These individuals prioritize their interests over mine. Before signing the contract, they told me everything I wanted to hear. Once signed, I faced the reality of being ignored. When I tried to contact the owner, he was unprofessional and unhelpful. When I hired them, I had a settled case with ongoing monthly payments. I simply wanted an attorney to help find a doctor for my follow-up appointments through telemedicine. They didn't find a new doctor, ignored my calls and emails, and were disrespectful. And eventually Due to miscommunication with the travelers and not paying attention to my case, I lost my payment. and my case got messed up. After nine frustrating months, I terminated my contract with them. I had to handle negotiations on my own, and it took almost a year to settle the case. Despite my case lasting three years, Montoya Law represented me for only nine months, doing nothing beneficial and even stopping my payments. When discussing fees with Ruben, he was unprofessional, demanded too much money, and refused negotiations, leading to a court dispute. UPDATE: I want to emphasize that the above statement reflects my personal experience with the business and is not meant to harm their reputation but to share my honest feedback. I have a workers Comp case with this office 4 yrs now. They have never called me to let me know what's going on with my case and when I call them they transfer me back and forth to different people who say they will check into it and talk to the attorney and get back with me. I called them so many times in the month of December 2023 and still have not gotten a call back.call back
