Do not use Moore Bradley Myers in Columbia, South Carolina. Emily Collins was assigned to my case and scheduled my court hearing months in advance. She knew about this hearing the entire time. Two days before court, after I reached out because I hadn’t heard from her, I was told she would not be attending because she chose to prioritize another case instead. At that point, I was sent a picture of a person I had never met and told that this is who would represent me in court. No call. No meeting. No preparation. The attorney who showed up had no knowledge of my case, said almost nothing in court, and clearly had no family law experience. On top of that, paperwork requested by opposing counsel was never submitted by my attorney. Because of this, I was ordered to pay the other side’s attorney’s fees and it made me look non-compliant to the court — even though this was not my fault. After raising these issues and asking to speak with the partners, I received delayed emails, no phone calls, was reassigned, then told the new attorney couldn’t represent me, and was ultimately dropped by the firm. This firm is disorganized, unprofessional, and does not care about their clients or their cases. Do not use this firm!

Will Edwards is wonderful. He did our wills when we retired back to Cola Town.

Does not return phone calls or respond to letters. Ever since Stanley passed this firm seems to have gone down. Do not recommend. Was never told that the previous attorney no longer works there after months of trying to reach her. And whoever the lady Lynn is that answers for Ward Bradley is rude and has a nasty attitude. Please re evaluate your employees

WARNING ⛔️ DO NOT RETAIN THIS FIRM. Absolutely the worst law firm by far. 3 years ago I retained Jake Moore Jr in a divorce case. In that 3 years there was little to no communication between attorney and client. Every time you call, his secretary answers, and it’s one excuse after another as to why Jake jr is unavailable, and promises that he will call back fell on deaf ears. It was almost an act of Congress to get this firm to do anything. After a horrible 3 year experience and still not divorced I terminated their employment. In a matter of 2 months of retaining a new attorney my case is being pushed through, and my new attorney is in constant communication. If you want nothing done this is the firm for you, if you want results seek else where.

My family and friends used Moore, Bradley, and Meyers when we were in need of legal services. The lawyers and staff are friendly and attentive and make you feel very comfortable.

Worse firm..did not help at all the attorney was rude and they do not reach out to clients .. I tried to speak with them about my child custody case and literally they ignored me and would not respond

Was not very impressed with this firm, would not personally use them, receptionist was very polite.

I've known "Gill" Bell a long time. He cut his teeth prosecuting for several years and earned a stellar reputation as an immensely capable trial attorney. I have referred several clients to him who have had legal issues in Columbia, Saluda, and the midlands, and all of them have returned stellar reports of his tenacious approach and tireless work ethic. I'm glad to know Gill and highly recommend him.

I wish I could give them 100 stars! Bill Fortino and his team are hands down the best legal team around! As a man in South Carolina, a custody battle was pretty terrifying. But Bill helped make the process a lot less nerve-racking. He has a very no-nonsense approach and is incredibly talented at his craft. I have full custody now and have even been back for modification. He was successful every time! If you can't tell, I HIGHLY recommend them! My only regret is that I wish I posted this sooner.

Awesome staff and William H. Edwards is a Awesome Lawyer . He works very hard for his clients for what they wants done. He is very honest . I am honored to know him and to see him in action. Thank you William ( Will ) for all of your help and support that you have shown me . And may I add that all of the Lawyers at this firm are also Awesome and is willing to sever their clients the same way. Keep up the amazing work you all do.
