I would strongly caution anyone considering this law firm for a divorce case. My case has been dragging on for over two years, and they still have not been able to finalize it. The level of procrastination and lack of urgency has been incredibly frustrating. Communication has been extremely poor. I often have to chase them down for updates, and when I do hear back, there is rarely any meaningful progress. Instead, I’m frequently asked for more money while the case continues to sit unresolved. A divorce is already stressful enough without feeling like your own legal team is slowing things down. I trusted them to help bring closure to this chapter of my life, but instead it has turned into a long, expensive process with very little accountability. If you’re looking for a law firm that communicates clearly, moves your case forward, and respects your time and money, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I’m sure if you’re looking for lawyers and you’re here you’re looking for a someone to help you in a hard time. Moore family is nothing like that… and I’ll tell you why:- They have so many paralegals changing you might end up having three or four different people working on your case and none of them check what the other person has done so I imagine you pay $15,000 for them to subpoena your exes bank account only to find out when you go to trial that they don’t have it ready yet so they keep pushing it back about Two years and every time they go to court they’re collecting about $5000 from you just because they don’t have it ready. then when you go to court and you’re ready for trial, they say oh we did not get three out of the seven accounts, which is the ones that have the funds how would you feel then? So you have to settle, so you don’t pay your lawyer more. Then they have the nerve to say let’s push it back more! We will sign a contract for a rate four months in and after they start work, they’re going to send you a letter saying from next months or raising it again, so there is no securities with this firm timeline . And then on top of it when you try to complain to the owner and that you will be contributing $50 every month to her personal fund to “hear about case” no call back. It’s a flashy firm but seeing them in court it’s a lot of papers but no sustains. Tell me are you ready to have to pay them 70,000 and most it is for items they say do it do it but then when judge wants a hearing about it after the custody day it makes it useless.. Please avoid at all cost they will even charge you when you call them because they didn’t follow up but charge you for reading that email.

Response from owner

Hello, sir: Our office has tried to reach you multiple times as this review is entirely a surprise and we are not sure what much of it means. We have not heard any complaints from you until the conclusion of your matter. We wish you would have reached out sooner to clearly explain what you have put here to give us the opportunity to remedy any of it. You have included payment ledgers here but there is no billing included to demonstrate all the work performed to incur charges over the years of representation. If no work is performed, there is no billing. We can go over all the work performed that you faithfully paid through completion of your matter. Thank you very much for that and allowing us to see your matter through conclusion. We have been happy to serve you. Your legal team and management are always available to discuss issues that arise.

I retained an attorney service/firm to represent me in my divorce and family law matters, but my experience was extremely disappointing. Despite spending nearly $30,000 on their services, I feel like I received nothing in return. While they did go to court, they never even served my ex-wife properly, which ultimately bought her six more weeks in the house she was no longer paying for. Instead of taking meaningful action, they simply requested continuances, prolonging the process without any real progress. They also failed to advocate for me in critical matters. They never took action against my ex-wife for denying me the court-ordered time with my children, and they never helped me gain access to my home to retrieve my belongings. In the end, I had to go through a criminal court judge just to collect my personal property—something my family law attorneys should have handled. Ultimately, my ex-wife, who was the primary provider, was awarded custody of the children and retained everything, while I was left with nothing. I deeply regret trusting this firm, as I do not believe they truly fought for my rights or best interests

Do yourself a favor and stay far away. Expensive as heck, having 3-4 different people touching your file and running up your bill. But they managed to turn my 18 month alimony arrangement to 21… RUN! $6,000 mistake!

Response from owner

Hello, Andrew: Yes, we do work as a team here. More people to assist on a matter is usually helpful to clients who like to have their team available for them. Our recollection of your matter is quite different but we are sorry it was mutually not a good fit. Take care.

Called to schedule a consultation for my mother to process a divorce. With my mother being Spanish speaking, I asked if I could help with translating. They said no and because no one in the firm speaks Spanish. Which is fine they’re not required to. So they referred me to another law firm that speaks Spanish. I have no issues with speaking to our immigration lawyer as a translator so not sure how this is different or they just don’t serve the Latino community. Either way not surprising based off other reviews here so we probably are better off.

Response from owner

Hi Luis, our intake specialist did the best thing for your mom. As you state here, we have no Spanish speaking attorneys on staff. It would be a disservice to your mom to pay the extra time it would take for an interpreter, and suffer delays relying on you to translate every call, email, letter, form, pleading, meeting, message, and court appearance. A Spanish speaking attorney would serve her best.

We gladly serve many Latinos and in fact half of our staff is Latino. Unfortunately you contacted us at a time we don't have a Spanish speaking attorney on staff. Offering what's best for your mom certainly doesn't warrant a one star. I hope she finds a great attorney she is able to communicate with to serve her well and meet her needs. Very best to you and your mom.

They will take your money and leave you high and dry!!

Response from owner

We're sorry you'd think such a thing. To the contrary, our firm doesn't get paid until we earn it. All clients agree to that in the initial retainer agreement. They also receive invoices twice per month so they see all the work being performed. They can review all billing or dispute any entry. MFLG is extremely transparent in our billing process as well as payment expectations. We also leave it up to clients to fund their cases until they no longer want service. They can stop at any time during the course of their case. At any point, clients and the firm can decide if they're no longer a good fit and that's beneficial to all clients and the legal team. Clients should find attorneys who align with their desires and goals. We wish you the best.

Horrible experience I was overcharged and was not helped at all I would never recommend this firm they are more interested in the money than assisting with the case

Response from owner

I am sorry you feel that way. I noticed you changed from a five star to a one star, and wish you would've let us know where we could have done better. We are very good about going over what fees will be at the onset as well as ongoing cost estimates with all of our clients.

Our attorney Chandra was amazing and so knowledgeable. But what impressed me the most was how she carefully read all of our documents prior to our meeting with her. She was very detailed and knows her stuff, especially when it comes to complex high net worth divorce. The team is also amazing, and some of the best customer service we have ever experienced. We would give 10 stars.

Response from owner

Wow! Thank you for leaving such great compliments. We appreciate you took the time and are grateful for the opportunity to serve you.

Well I just want to say this was not a good experience. I paid nearly $4000 and this firm never even reached out to opposing counsel let alone made contact. They charge an insane amount of money and will slowly nickel and dime you to deathwhittling away your hard earned money. Shortly after retaining this firm, ( I was already divorced and was just trying to enforce my divorce decree) I had to put the case on hold for close to a year due to a family Illness. I called and told them the situation and asked to cancel the case for the time being and said I’d reach back out when I was ready. They said they could just put the case on hold until I was ready to proceed again and I said that was perfect. What they failed to tell me was that they would continue to bill me monthly to review my case even though nothing was going on. When I came back to restart I realized they had used a significant amount of my retainer just in their mandatory monthly update meeting. So for about a year I was charged $100/month for her junior attorney to tell Ms. Moore nothing was going on. It really is a shame they were not good stewards of my money. They never filed a motion, wrote a letter, or spoke to a soul regarding my case. If you have money to throw away and want a very nice office to sit in this is your place. If you want results and a good steward of your money I’d look elsewhere. I just finally finished up my entire case with my original attorney Nieves Osaba out of Riverside. She works alone. Doesn’t have a fancy office or a huge staff, but I paid my original retainer of $5k and she got the entire thing done. By the way, you will never even meet Ms. Moore. You will be assigned an associate attorney that was very nice but not the attorney that is advertised. Very disappointed.

I have to say, Jameson has been assigned to me and he’s on top of his game. He always has a strategy, and he is patient and professional. He makes me feel confident that I don’t have to babysit my case and that everything will be alright. What I like most is that he consistently updates me throughout the case. Lastly, he’s a great listener, and I apologize for always interrupting you. You’re the best attorney I’ve worked with, out of four.

Response from owner

Thank you, Gary, for the great review!
