I feel like this is the most important of all the reviews I've ever wrote. I was arrested in a completely unconstitutional case. Joe charged me $3,000 to represent me. He told me he was going to obtain the body and dash cam footage. Then file a motion for suppression. He never obtained the footage. He just pushed me into a plea deal. I ended up doing 4 weeks in jail. I called Joe every day to find out what was going on. He never took my calls. If you want an attorney who will at least look at the facts and give you a fair representation, please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I wouldn't have him represent me for a parking ticket. This guy is who gives lawyers a sleazy name.

I had heard about Joseph Morse for years before retaining him and he was consistently described as an attorney who would fight your case if possible, and if not, secure a fair and reasonable outcome. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that reputation. To be clear, I do not believe Mr. Morse lacks intelligence or legal skill. Rather, the issue was a clear lack of care, diligence, and client advocacy, particularly after payment was made. I paid a substantial amount of money for what I believe was below average representation that fell short of standard legal practice. In my view, his conduct exemplifies ineffective assistance of counsel. Communication was a persistent problem throughout the years he represented me. Phone calls, texts, and messages frequently went unanswered or unreturned. This lack of responsiveness was paired with what appeared to be minimal effort, engagement, and preparation for court proceedings. The absence of meaningful advocacy placed me in a position where I felt forced to accept a plea that offered little benefit and did not feel like a true “deal” at all. While Mr. Morse often presented himself as caring and concerned, his actions suggested otherwise. At times, it felt as though he was more aligned with the prosecution than with defending me , his client. Regardless of the allegations against me, I hired him to vigorously represent my interests, and I did not feel that occurred. Another serious concern was billing transparency. I was never provided a receipt for any payment, whether from Mr. Morse or his receptionist. After later researching this issue, I learned this is not considered proper or professional practice, and I also discovered it is a common complaint raised by other former clients. Mr. Morse claimed to have spent hundreds of hours on my case; however, based on the level of work performed, I find that claim difficult to believe. In my estimation, even including paralegal time, the total hours worked were far fewer. Overall, I am deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with the representation I received and felt disrespected as a client. I would not recommend Mr. Morse for legal representation, even in minor matters. I have spoken with other attorneys familiar with him; while none were willing to speak negatively, none offered positive endorsements either, which, in itself, was telling.

Amazing lawyer. Intelligent, asks a lot of questions, and is dogged on your behalf. I have worked with few people that have been so responsive and tenacious. You're lucky if he represents you!

If you are looking for a great lawyer that actually comes through and fights for you, look no further!!!! Joe is a top-notch, no BS, amazing lawyer! He's the first lawyer I have ever dealt with THAT ACTUALLY GOT THE JOB DONE!! Every other lawyer makes "unspoken promises" then always fall short. NOT JOE! He's able to accomplish those far fetched results other lawyers will tell you, are not possible. His assistant & entire team are also stand-up/amazing; they make themselves availble to you 24/7 for any questions/concerns. It's a huge relief knowing you have a whole team working and fighting for you, opposed to all the one-man-show lawyers out there whom don't even have the time they promise. Joe is now, and will forever be, my lawyer and go to guy!

In my experience, this attorney was both unprofessional and ineffective. He seemed more invested in controlling outcomes than actually defending his clients — especially those appointed through the court. As a Black client, I found his behavior racially insensitive and degrading. He pushed plea deals without real support, and the process felt exploitative. If you're ever assigned to him, do yourself a favor: ask for someone else. You deserve better representation.

My lifelong friend recommended Joe. Thank you Andy, I could not be more pleased with the results Joe produced. Joe told me up front what could happen and what he would do to produce the best possible outcome. His representation was the key reason my possible nightmare situation became a small bump in the road. He knew how to expertly navigate and work with the prosecution, legal system, and judge to return the best possible outcome. Call Joe Morse… He is the best lawyer you can find at any price. Six stars!

Please stay away from this lawyer absolutely worst lawyer that you can get a better public defender lazy lazy quick to take your money and do nothing for it Never Concern about the case and give you the feeling as though hes working with the prosecutor Against you Because as you know they are all friends There is no client privacy because he does talk to the prosecutor about what you're saying And helps get the best possible outcome for the prosecutor please do not fall for this trap

"Everyone has an attorney" Reality sets in when your attorney gets the best possible job done with the best possible tools in his arsenal. Thats what Joseph Morse WILL DO!!!!! Answer the phone?!?!? Any good attorney doesn't have time for phone calls (but rest assured, is working in the background when your mind is wondering what they are doing and you have the famous questions of what are we doing or have you heard anything?!?!?). 22 years of representation from this law firm for many different cases as well as advice!!!!! I have recommended hundreds of clients and will continue to do so because the good the bad and the ugly do happen, and when it does, YOU NEED SOMEONE THAT WILL HANDLE IT!!!!

Worthless! Doesn’t care about his clients only money ! Never answer his phone calls only when he wants money ! Just so everyone knows ask for a receipt he never gives one !

Go find you a public defender better than spending thousands of dollars so he can sit in court and do nothing doesn’t defend his clients, doesn’t even have his papers ready. FYI he keeps changing his name Joseph p Morse , Morse p Joseph ,Morse Joseph p , joe m etc

Mr. Morse is a very straight forward and caring attorney. He clearly takes his profession very seriously and cares for his clients. I am very appreciative of what he has done for my family.

Great business

I wish there was a zero to give. Stay away from this lawyer . . . This lawyer messed up my family and screw them over, he very fast to collect his money but he did not represent them as we felt he should, I would not recommend him to friends or family I believe we were thrown under the bus or traded as a favor. People, please don't believe the hype that stands behind this man. please spend your money wisely don't just throw it away. We were and still are very disappointed with the representation of this lawyer who will take your money and do very little for it. He have no ethics, no morals, no remorse, no respect for his client. Oh my God how can anyone allow such person to practice law they should barr him and take away all his credentials as a lawyer . . .
