Terrible at returning phone calls / messages. Almost as if they don’t need the business it seems.
David worked with my old apartment to get me evicted. I lived there for 8 years paid my bills and stayed out of trouble. I resigned my lease at least 3 time same paperwork. At the time I had just lost my mom so keeping up with my paperwork wasn't on the for front of my mind but after court I went back in my phone found a video of me turning in my lease I contacted this office constantly and didn't get a call email or nothing they laughed at me in court the landlord lied under oath the judge was rude treating me as if I was crazy because I repeated myself more than once.Needless to say I'm still homeless today this has completely destroyed our life . Who will rectify this situation who do I talk to to get help because this isn't life this is hell.
I recently ( 9-2024 ) started work with Ms. Caren L. Sydnor and Ms. Heidi Smith on getting problem , squatter tenants evicted from my rental property in Selbyville De. Caren and Heidi were there every step of the way . They constantly kept me informed on everything that was going on and always responded to me immediately if I had a question. They made sure everything was done the way Delaware law requests as far as the eviction process or this could have gone on until Spring 2025. The tenants are out of the house. ( 11-4-24 ) I would highly recommend this team/firm to any / everyone if you are even in an unfortunate situation that I was in. They were there when I needed help the most and they delivered. Fantastic . I couldn't be happier.
STAY AWAY. Called them paid for the consultation fee and sent me a contract to move forward. After 2 days of trying finally got a hold of the assistant for David who is a lawyer there she said he doesn’t want to take your case paid over 300 for the consultation for no reason . STAY AWAY
Sherry and the fine people at Morton, Valihura & Zerbato are great to work with and when they say "Knowledgeable, Reputable and Resourceful" that is 100% correct. Thanks again for all your hard work.
Although we have not utilized Morton, Valihura & Zerbato's services as as vendor we can say that they are always very professional and seem to provide their clients with excellent services!
Thus far, as I am on the opposing side, a tenant who has been wronged by a landlord, I am unable to reach an attorney because the paralegal is a rude, obnoxious bully. In addition, I will try to call again today. However, this firm signs letters that are written and reviewed probably only by the paralegal who is clearly unaware of federal law when it comes to low income tax credit housing. Need I say more?
It is a professional hazard of our business, litigation, that an opponent would be disappointed in the competent and professional services which are being rendered for a client of the firm against that opponent.

The firm prides itself in treating all parties, including unrepresented opponents, clients, with dignity and respect, but responses to non-client party litigants must necessarily take into account that we cannot provide legal advice to them. Our clients can expect that we have and will continue to treat their litigation opponents with courtesy despite their views to the contrary.
This office attitude is very rude and poor. they use lie excuse to fool me. they said all 5 attorneys are not in office so can't help, but of course they should have way to contact them and record in the office when I ask a question about public sale they representative, they refuse to tell me who is the attorney and no any basic manner or sorry just directly hang out my phone call when she knows she won't get dollar from my question. Other law offices never treat me by this way. From this attitude, you can assume what kind of service you can get, unless you're money bag for them
Our office routinely represents clients who have properties that go to Sheriff's Sale. As the attorney of record, we are not able to provide any details regarding the actual property at Sheriff's sale. This caller was inquiring about specific details regarding the property, and was directed to contact the Sheriff's sale regarding same. As for the attorneys not being available, the attorney for this matter was not in the office at the time and the caller was informed of same. We are always respectful and responsive to all callers, however when we cannot provide what they are requesting, there is nothing else that we can do.
Landlords only. I don't blame them they have the money.
Friendly, knowledgeable and prompt service!
If you ever need a lawyer he's the one you can count on
Thank you Linda, we appreciate your comments.
