I called them to ask some basic questions regarding asylum applications. I wanted to know how many clients and cases have they handled in the past and all that to calm my worries, but all the lady could say was " I can't answer that question and you will need to schedule a consultation first" smh.. Today's Date: Wednesday January 28, 2026 Updated from previous posted review on Sunday January 25, 2026: Mr. Hammond, the owner/Senior Partner of Mourad Law, called me on Monday January 26, 2026 regarding my Review I posted on Sunday January 25 regarding his firm and his Secretary Ms. Smith. He apologized for any miscommunication,etc and I also apologized for the review. I wasn't trying to cause any trouble, but I just wanted him to help me because he does have a great reputation of helping his clients. So he indicated he would call his secretary to set up a time for the next day. She, Ms. Smith called and scheduled my free consultation for Tuesday January 27 at 2 pm. I arrived around 1:15 pm. He came around within 15 minutes and he was nice enough to see me early. My appointment was at 2 pm, but I came earlier because of the weather and I was on the bus. We spoke about my case regarding the Citation and I presented him with the evidence (phone records via FOIA, audio conversations via FOIA, video, emails) to dispute the false police report. He indicated that this was BS and not right. His law firm seems to have a very sharp team of attorneys and administrative staff. I also apologized to his secretary, Ms. Smith too. She was SUPER NICE and his other Secretary was nice enough to make me some hot chocolate. It was good too. It's also a lovely and professional looking law practice. He promised me a reasonable retainer fee. I'm not sure if I can pay that. If it goes to trial, his services are $350 an hour. Since I only receive SSD, he indicated he would work with me. I just want the truth to come out regarding the false police report. The Court Appointed Attorney that I have seems disinterested, unresponsive, and hasn't confirmed she reviewed my evidence or informed me of her defenses. She indicated she doesn't want to rock the boat with the Prosecution. Mr Hammond isn't afraid to do that. That's what a Defense Attorney is about rocking the boat to obtain justice for their clients. He was caring and most importantly he believed I was telling the truth based on the evidence I showed and played for him. Mr. Hammond said he would reach out to my Court Appointed Attorney as well so she could fight for me. He knows of her and indicated she has to fight this false charge against me. After we spoke about everything, he was nice enough to call me an Uber to get home. I told him he didn't have to. But I really APPRECIATED it because I was exhausted and didn't feel like taking 3 buses home😅 He said if he knew I was coming by 3 buses, he would send an Uber for me. I told him that's okay, it was worth coming to his office regarding the consultation. But it meant a lot to me that he cared especially since it was 11 degrees that day. He also was nice enough to let me have a bracelet saying, Palestine. He knew I was admiring it and asked him where he got it from. I told him I couldn't take that because it was symbolic. He said there's plenty more like it. See pic. This morning, Wednesday, January 28, 2026, he called me to follow up regarding reaching out to my Court Appointed Attorney. He indicated that he left her a message to call me regarding my concerns about my case. But unfortunately no response from her. The point is that I misjudged the law office of Mourad Law. The owner, Mr Mohammed Ali Hammond, felt bad if I misinterpreted something from his staff and he wanted to correct any misunderstandings. I also apologized. I can be overly sensitive at times. I'm not sure what I should do though. I just want someone that I can feel comfortable with representing me. I want to know what their defenses and tactics are going to be in the Court room. Mr Hammond is ready to take action and that's what I want in a Criminal Defense Attorney, someone that isn't afraid to take the Prosecutor on & prove their client is innocent. He was generous and sympathetic more than my court appointed Attorney. He did give me the opportunity to come into his office. So I was grateful about that and we patched things up😊

I hired them for a motorcycle-related case and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. They were clear, professional, and straight to the point from the start. Unfortunately, I can't give more than 5 stars. I got 2 tickets at once that would cost me points on my license and affect hiring. I hired Mourad Law based on positive reviews. He was so professional and the outcome was surprising, which I couldn't believe. He was able to reduce it to 2 parking tickets with zero points and don't show on my records.
