Ms. Celia J. Collins

I called Sylvia J. Collins (June 9th) and when she answered, she didn’t even introduce herself. I had to ask, “Hi, is this Ms. Celia?” and she just responded with “Yeah,” like she was annoyed or bothered. I asked if she handled defamation cases, and she said “Yeah,” but just sounded disinterested the entire time. I asked if there was a free consultation or a fee, and she said “There’s usually a fee,” in the same dry, dismissive tone. Then she referred me to a guy named Edward, gave me his phone number—but she wasn’t even sure it was the right number. Like, how are you referring someone and don’t even know if the contact info is correct? She seemed very annoyed and disinterested from the beginning. It honestly felt like she didn’t want to take the call or help at all. I was calm and polite, but she was completely dismissive. The referral didn’t help either because I never got through to the guy she gave me. Wouldn’t recommend.
