Called because I have a dental malpractice situation going on and wanted legal advice. Since I declined to provide my email address even though I told whoever answered the phone on 08/30/21 around 8:20 pm that my preferred method of contact was through my cell phone, they said they will no longer continue the conversation due to not providing enough information. Good luck to this law firm if they dismiss clients so easily.
Hello Tecolotl, unfortunately we need an email address for every prospective client to be able to effectively communicate with them. We wish you well in your search for a lawyer.
I just got off the phone with some lady who was rude and hung up on me!
Ms. Lirious, we have no record of a call from you today. Perhaps you misdialed our number? Please call us at 619-238-8700 if you would like to reach us, 24 hours a day.
Despite this firm not being able to take my Mother’s case, they were helpful every step of the way. Jan Mulligan, thank you for your kindness and your time. It will never be forgotten. I appreciate all that you did for us and the information you provided. Thank you!
I can’t speak for the lawyers bc I didn’t get that far. I only spoke to who ever answers their calls. An older gentleman by the tone of his voice. He was very short in the (Customer service sense) with me despite me being very polite and kinda nervous sincere this being my first time calling a law firm. He interrupted me multiple times, and after giving him my full address he proceeded to ask FOR the unit number (not asking if there was one). If there was a unit number I would have said it. But forgive me I live in a big beautiful home on 3 acres of land, and that’s just the Cali property, so get rid of whatever assumption you had. Perhaps It’s something against young people, whatever race he thinks I am bc of my last name, but moving on. I called the firm to help me with a dental matter. They have two dental example cases on their website. Once I tell him it’s dental matter he tells me they don’t do that and he sounded so happy that he didn’t have to talk to me anymore. So I hope they have other receptionist, more welcoming ones bc I did not feel welcomed whatsoever in my struggling time.
Alexis: Thank you for your feedback. We'll use it to better train our staff for future interactions with callers. We certainly hope to be polite and understanding with every caller, and we’re sorry that was not your experience. We train our staff to take detailed contact information during our intake process. It is not intended to be offensive. Again, we apologize that your experience was different. We do not currently handle dental negligence cases. Thank you for pointing out that our dental case results were still up on our website; we've now taken them down. We wish you good luck and resolution to your dental situation.
Amazing caring law firm! If only all law firms acted with the kindness and integrity like they do!!
I cannot say enough about the professionalism and knowledge Jan has shown. I am so grateful to have been assisted and advised by her. She is on it! People like her are so rare to come by. I would give her 10 stars if I could! I will recommend her to any friend or family member I know.
I have worked with all three partners of this firm. Their knowledge of the law and reputation are outstanding. They are the go-to firm where I refer all of my medical malpractice cases.
After taking a medication I was prescribed for 3.5 years, that I was only supposed to be on for 12 weeks, I was diagnosed with a neural muscular disorder called Tardive Dyskinesia. I found out that this disorder was not reversible. I looked on the internet for a top-rated law firm that took medical malpractice cases. After being told I have no case by a few firms because of the warning on the medication, I called Mulligan, Banham & Finley Law Firm, and they made an appointment for a consultation. They took my case, and it was the best call I could have made. They were very professional and did a lot of research on my disorder and spoke with many top medical professionals about my case. They were not just interested in the case, they were also interested and cared about me as a person. Elizabeth Banham (Betsy) even told me about a new medication that was just approved for Tardive Dyskinesia, that my neurologist didn't know about. She told me about the medication knowing that if worked that it could change the outcome of my case, but my health came first. I would drop into the firm from time to time without an appointment to follow up on my case, and Betsy would always greet me with a hug, and would take the time to discuss the case with me. She drove me to Las Angels see one of the top neurologist in the country. She also flew to San Francisco to depose a witness all on a contingency that we would win. When we went to the settlement conferences, two of the partners of the firm, Elizabeth Banham, and Brian Finley, went with me for representation. We settled out of court, and I was very pleased with the results. I would strongly recommend the law firm of Mulligan, Banham & Finley for anyone that is looking for a top rated medical malpractice attorney. They truly care about people and not just the money that many other firms were so concerned about, in case they lost. They stuck out their neck for me and it payed off in the end.
Brian Findley is a gifted advocate for injured persons up and down the State of California. Brian and his firm will handle your case with great care from inception through trial. I would feel more than comfortable recommending Brian and his firm to family and friends.
I refer medical malpractice clients to Brian Findley often as his expertise and reputation in the legal community is second to none. His firm not only tackles some of the most serious injury and malpractice cases in California, they are also advocates for changing local law in favor of consumers. I would not hesitate in referring any family or close friends to Mulligan, Banham and Findley should they ever need such services.
Thank you for your trust and support, Joshua.
Brian is the "go to" guy for medical malpractice and personal injury. He is skilled, compassionate, and kind. I would recommend him anytime, anywhere!
Thank you for your review and your support of our firm, Matthew!

He is active in professional organizations and is committed to getting the best possible results available under the law. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a birth injury or complex litigation case.
Thank you for your kind words and confidence in us, Emily!
Brian is a compassionate human being who cares about his clients and will go the extra mile to get full justice for them. Plus, he is an intelligent man and down to earth at the same time. You can not ask for a better attorney to represent you.
Thank you for the kind review, Paul! We are glad we made an impression on you.
Great group of lawyers. Smart, hard working and caring. Brian Findley is amazing. I can't think of anyone else I would chose to represent me.
Thank you Darren for reviewing Brian and our team. We appreciate your support!
This firm is well known in San Diego and even in other states as excellent litigators and trial attorneys. In particular Brian Findley is an incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, and hardworking professional who gets excellent results; I have referred several potential clients to him because of his stellar reputation.
We look forward to continuing to serve your firm and anyone you are inclined to send our way for help. Thank you!
Brian is as hardworking as they come. He is dedicated to his clients and will put in the time and effort above and beyond the run of the mill lawyer to get the job done and get top dollar for his clients. He's also a thoughtful guy and puts himself in his clients' shoes to understand what they are experiencing so he can really present in a genuine way. Would recommend him to anyone!
Thank you Alex! It has been a pleasure getting to know you and working with you.
Zero stars if possible! I would like to share my ultimately disappointing experience with this firm, and criticize the case selection process that I unfortunately experienced. It is most unfortunate that, after having placed our trust and time in them, my family was abandoned in our most vulnerable time of need. I initially contacted them because my wife had suffered, as a result of medical negligence, cardiac arrest while having a c-section. I was advised by them to not discuss the matter with any other firms, to stay in touch to provide updates on the case, and that, once my wife's medical records were available, further legal action could commence. We decided to kept faith, believing that they had our best interest at heart, and thus we followed all their instructions, diligently provided all requested information. In a reversal to their purported hard-working and tireless advocacy mantra, however, the firm decided to drop us and not take our case. It became evident to us that, because our case would have not provided as much money as they had hoped for, they decided to drop us. I can understand that they reserve the right to take on cases that will provide them an internally predetermined margin--after all, they run a business, not a charity. My problem, however, is with their disingenuous tactic to emotionally string you along, selling themselves as your faithful and indefatigable advocates, just to buy enough time to see how your medical case pans out, all the while consuming YOUR valuable time and betraying your trust. You played us well: shame on you!
I am sorry that you are frustrated and upset about the information we communicated to you regarding your wife's potential lawsuit. Clearly, at the time you contacted us, you and your wife had been through a terrifying experience. Unfortunately, because of California laws, medical malpractice cases are very difficult and expensive to pursue even for well trained, experienced and accomplished attorneys.

At no cost to your family, this is what we did before concluding we were unable to file a lawsuit on your family's behalf:

1. An experienced attorney reviewed all of your voluminous medical records.
2. The records were then reviewed by an experienced board certified physician.
3. Medical research was conducted and cross referenced with the information from the records.
4. Multiple discussions were had with you, seeking additional and updated information and ultimately explaining why we couldn't represent your spouse.
5. We recommended you consult other attorneys to get a second opinion about your potential lawsuit, to see if their analysis was different than ours.

We worked very hard to analyze your potential lawsuit before concluding we could not help you. This decision is not one we made lightly. This information was performed as quickly and competently as possible, and communicated to you many months before the deadline in which you are required to file a lawsuit.

We understand your frustration and we regret that we cannot be of further assistance to you. Worse than the news that we cannot now help you would be the frustration and loss if we naively plowed forward into extensive and stressful litigation, only to lose the case years from now.

MULLIGAN, BANHAM & FINDLEY
