People, I recommend disputing with the insurance company yourself. Especially, if you’re not really hurt from the accident. For example, the party at fault in my accident didn’t do much damage but I still felt the need to receive compensation for the time off from work and the hospital bills. The other party's insurance company offered me $5k. But at the end of my settlement with Napolin, I was given $1k. This is because Napolin made me pay for lawyer fees, of course, but I also had to pay the chiropractor, medical bills from the hospital, and the MRI scans. The interesting part is, I mentioned to my lawyer and chiropractor that I did not need majority of the test that they instructed me to do. Maybe I was manipulated because I'm very young. But it worked, I guess. So for future reference, just see what you can do directly with the insurance company before trusting a money-hungry lawyer.
