I started with National Legal thinking I was going to be able to pay off my debt and save. I was mistaken with the amount of fees National legal charges you are better off speaking with creditors yourself. I recently canceled my account with National legal and SAVED BY CANCELING. I had 7 open accounts as National Legal only settled TWO ACCOUNTS IN FOUR YEARS. I have since settled 3 accounts on my own and saved the 12% that National Legal would have taken. My advice CXL and try to work out settlements on your own. I settled my account all for under 55% when National legal told me they weren't able to.

I called anxious, even though the company doesn't work in my state, David gave me 45 minutes of his time , helping me lay out a map of how to address the mess I made. No shame or rubbing my nose in it. Hung up feeling confident I can overcome it. I had nothing to offer them, yet was treated like royalty regardless. That speaks volumes of their integrity. Very grateful for his time and expertise.

i can't say enough about this firm. They are honest and extremely helpful. Their fees are reasonable and they don't start the clock ticking right away. They are certainly looking out first for their clients interest.First, i dealt with David and he handed me off to the very capable Mya who is a super rock star. What I am writing are 100% verifiable facts. David and his team at National Legal saved me from bankruptcy, saved my security clearance, and got me to a point where I'm able to have credit again. I was almost $200,000.00 in debt. I had 14 credit cards and 2 loans. When I finally reached the point where I knew I was too far behind to recover on my own, I reached out to David and his team. I was, of course, full of skepticism and trepidation. David spent over 4 hours on the phone with me explaining everything and answering the litany of questions I had. Once I committed, I stayed the course and am now fully debt free! It took me 5 years and 7 months, and it was not easy by any stretch. The great thing about this program is that the account where you deposit funds is your account, and you can manage it as you see fit. Also, during those times when money is tight, you can notify the banking department and skip payments when needed. I have now been with this firm for almost 6 years, and the level of support and communication I receive now is just as good as when I started. Bad things and bad situations happen to good people, and David and his team understand that.
