John Newman is one of the best person I have ever met. As a lawyer he is even better. He took my case as part of the public defenders department. When we first met he was attentive and deliberate. After choosing him as my defense attorney he was hard working and available. John listened and was festidious in his work. He made sure I was informed and involved in all decisions. John was always prepared. He worked hard on my case and used every avenue he could think of in defending me. In court John's demeanor was direct and thoughtful. It was a blessing to have him as my council. He is a true professional and skilled lawyer. I am so fortunate to have known him.

Mr. Newman helped me for just short of an entire year, which was one of the hardest of my life. Not only was he my lawyer but and incredible confidante as well. In our case, throughout court, he was, in fact, the smartest person in the room and knew the law inside and out, with statutes and precendents to prove those facts. John Newman is a 10/10, genuinely cares about his clients and will help for a very price… John Newman is the greatest, most confident attorney I’ve ever worked with. Before going into his office I was very worried that I was going to face consequences that I did not deserve. Newman changed that and made me feel comfortable through our whole journey. He showed me that he genuinely cared about my freedom. On the day of the final decision of whether or not I was going to be guilty, Newman came into the courtroom with radiating confidence. The energy he had in that courtroom had everyone nervous and quiet. During the whole thing Newman was completely humiliating the opposing side. The only thing going through my head was “Wow this man is awesome.” The whole time it felt like he was fighting for his freedom too. I could go on about how great he was in the courtroom but I need to get on with this review. On that day I was found not guilty for any charge or any new charge that was thrown at us. Let me tell you, it was probably the happiest day of my life. When we were finally walking out of the courtroom I felt like a boss. I gave him the tightest hug I could. I don’t even hug my own mother. I was finally out of this mess. Moral of the story: 1) He cares and will make you comfortable through the whole thing. 2) I will DEFINITELY be coming back to him if I EVER have another case.

I came to Mr. Newman with quite the list of charges. I was terrified. Not only because this was my first offense, but also because the charges were severe, and career ending for me. I was referred to John because he was willing to work with me on price, payment and expectation. Needless to say I was not disappointed! Mr. Newman was not only kind, respectful and professional; but he was incredibly efficient with his work and prompt with information. In the end John Newman was not only able to get ALL OF MY CHARGES DROPPED but he was able to have them cleared from my record to preserve my ability to work in my chosen field.
