I had called Newpoint law group to check to see if they provided notary services. I have used them before and know that they do, but decided to call to check. They initially said yes and I made an appointment for Monday August 6th. After going through the forms to be notarized, I learnt that I also needed the use of a finger print pad to complete the form and called back to ensure that they had this. They said that they believe they did and put me on hold while they checked. After what was a long wait, they came back to let me know that their notary was going to be out of the office on the 6th. I tried scheduling for later that week and they gave me a wishy washy answer that their notary was going to be in court all week. It is my opinion with respect to how this was handled, that they probably decided that they did not want my business or that this notary job was too complicated for them and they wanted no part of it. They did provide a number of someone else that I could contact to meet my needs, but how they handled this particular situation was poor.
