If you want competent, experienced, professional attorneys who treat you with respect and kindness, this isn’t the firm for you. Awful experience w/attorney Melinda Castro and her assistant Luisa Medina. Melinda agreed to take on my lawsuit against my property management company. We’d emailed and talked on the phone. She was very clear on what my case was about. I signed the retainer agreement. For a week her assistant Luisa was “not available” or “on a call” and Melinda was “in trial and unavailable.” I had an upcoming court date and wanted to make sure Melinda was going to be able to file the document in time. Finally, on a Friday evening Luisa sent a letter signed by Melinda terminating our agreement. We hadn’t spoken, there had been no communication, no conflict, nothing. To have me in limbo all week thinking I had representation, only to terminate our agreement on Friday evening, is despicable. I lost days of valuable time I could’ve been using to retain another attorney. And it’s the way she ended the agreement. Having Luisa send the email, “Please see the attached” with no explanation, no policies, nothing, is despicable. Melinda is inexperienced, but there’s no excuse to treat people this way. I strongly advise against working with this law firm.

I’m happy that they took my case even tho the outcome didn’t turn to be in my favor but they took it, regardless, based on HD report and my illness from mold. Blanca was descent/ pretty nice, she got back timely manner . It was indeed a lot of work on my part and then to not turn out to be in my favor was frustrating but I give them 5 stars bc they tried. Btw, the reason is bc mold in my rental didn’t come back so case closed. But during the case, they sent a mold guy; George, he was awesome and I’m glad I found out a lot of info and I paid $0.00. So it was worth it. TY!

These guys screwed all 40 of us they represented our building and took five years promised us $100,000 ea all the way off five years when it came down to them winning they won $300,000 and only gave 10 people money less than $5000 each do not hire these guys they will screw you over and lie to you one way or another they lied to us over and over and over beware of these guys do you not hire they screwed all 40 of us 10 people got money 30 people got screwed do not hire them we hired them for roaches because of our slumlord it was years and he had already went against this this guy‘s before and he still didn’t know how to win with this guy be very very careful hire someone else don’t get stuck with these guys where is my money npn you guys are a bunch of lossers. This firm has an intake specialist named Blanca that prefers you to do her job for her. She has you send a detailed timeline (mine was 4 years long so imagine the time I spent). Apart from the detailed timeline she sends you the interview to complete yourself "with her name in it as if she did the interview) and if you do not conform to her standards, she will tell you that she will not show the lawyers your case. A paralegal or intake specialist should be competent enough to perform the intake or should not be working there. People don't pay so much for legal help to do all the work themselves! That's so wrong.

If you have ever 'wondered' if you should call or get an Attorney. I know now; you should. I called NPN and imho you should call THEM - I'm in LA and I CHOSE them after an exhaustive search. My attorney is Jonathan and i am SO glad i retained him and the team/firm for my past (SUCCESSFULLY $$ done) case and now for a car accident. They handled everything and made moving on with my life possible after an anxiety ridden and sad situation. Jonathan is understanding and skilled, and a person with a strong moral compass, and strength. The support team (whom i and you will interact with the most) Heidi, Blanca, Danielle, Nathalia, ..(I'm sure I am forgetting a couple names,srry, smh) are THE BEST - As I know from Producing; you are only as good as your team - If you are good, they make you great, if you are great they make you phenomenal - I can't say enough good things about the kindness, empathy, and effectiveness of everyone there.
