I honestly don’t even know where to begin—working with Ofelia has been nothing short of life-changing. From day one, they treated me not like just another case, but like family. Hiring Ofelia was one of the most disappointing and damaging experiences I’ve ever had with a lawyer. From the beginning, I was in a desperate situation and needed a knowledgeable, strong advocate to defend me and my daughter in a high-conflict custody case and a personal injury case for my daughter. Instead of protecting us, she took advantage of my vulnerability. She rushed me into signing paperwork immediately on the first meeting once she knew we would also need a personal injury lawyer for my daughter. At first, she said everything I wanted to hear, but as soon as I signed, communication became frustrating and unhelpful—constant back and forth with no real solutions. In court, she was late, unprofessional, and barely spoke. The opposing party dominated the hearing while she sat silent, leaving me and my daughter completely unrepresented in the case we had initiated. Nothing I requested was included in the paperwork, and she pressured me right before court to either accept terms I never agreed ( and was insistent on it not being an option due to the circumstances) with or face trial. Instead of fighting for my needs before the court , she went into another courtroom to speak privately with a judge she knew personally—leaving my concerns completely ignored. And again was late having the Judge waiting for her again. ( Not forgetting the Starbucks as the judge said) She never filed responses to the court herself, making me do the legwork and chase documents. Even worse, when it came to the personal injury matter, she and her assistant referred to my daughter repeatedly dismissively as “that child” rather than by her name—deeply unprofessional and insensitive. Overall, I felt betrayed, abandoned, and robbed—not just financially (since I paid her upfront and received nothing meaningful in return), but of a fair chance at a better outcome for me and my daughter’s future. Instead of being my advocate, she felt like part of the opposition. I would not recommend her services to anyone ever. Your better off alone or a public defender

Great law firm. All the employees were very responsive and urgent. All my issues were solved within a few days of contacting them. They asked questions and then got everything done, no hassle. I strongly recommend.
