As a single divorced woman, I knew not what to do when my ex tried to place an oder against me. I talked to a few lawyers, and attorney Ohiku had the best advice. He made sure I knew what was needed, and stated that he would take care of what was needed for the case. The attorney came prepared and had me well prepared for the case. We won, however, without him I know I would have lost. He knew exactly when to object and when allow the opponent to talk. Thanks to the attorney I felt secure in this situation. I used attorney Ohiku for a second case. He was very atentive, and caring. Je worked hard on my case, and told me everything needed to do to make the case run smoothly. He jot me up to date and let me know i was important to him. Thank you for working hard on my case and winning. I have never felt as confident in my case as I did with you.

This law firm provided a very poor level of service. The case was handled carelessly, communication was inconsistent, and important matters were overlooked. I witness my best friend be treated as if he was a suspect rather than a client. I would advise others to do their research on better firms.

I am honestly furious with the service I received from Ohiku Law Office and Attorney Matthew Tores. This was hands-down one of the most frustrating and disappointing professional experiences I’ve ever had. Communication was terrible — I felt ignored, pushed aside, and completely left in the dark about my own case. For someone who’s supposed to represent and guide you, that’s absolutely unacceptable. I trusted this firm to handle something important, and instead I found myself chasing updates, repeating concerns, and dealing with a level of unresponsiveness that made the entire situation even more stressful. Nothing about my experience felt organized, attentive, or professional. I walked away feeling like my time, money, and peace of mind were wasted. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Ohiku Law Office or Attorney Matthew Tores to anyone who expects real communication, accountability, or basic respect from their legal representation.

Whoever answered the phone was rude as all get out! I instantly told her that she did not need to be rude and then hung up. She had the nerve to call back and claim she wasn't being rude but in a rude tone! I have the recording here of the phone call where she is being extremely rude! Latino to Latino let me just say that could never be me and I will not be using any money at this firm because of that one chick! Check yourself!

I worked with Ohiku Law Office for a little over a year on my custody/placement case. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I started with attorney Jada Davis, but she abruptly resigned, and my case was switched over to attorney Giancarlo Mora. While Mora was helpful at times, I never felt like he was advocating for me the way I truly needed. Despite numerous sit-downs with my child’s mother’s attorney, no agreements were ever reached, and after all this time I still have not gotten any additional placement with my daughter. During those sit-down meetings, I often felt like my child’s mother and her attorney were bashing me, and instead of stepping in strongly on my behalf, Attorney Mora left me in a position where I had to defend myself. Then, at my DeNovo hearing, Attorney Mora showed up about 10 minutes late. The judge was extremely upset—not at me, but at my attorney—and I personally feel that this derailed my entire case. This was my second time having my case dismissed, and I believe it was largely because my attorney didn’t push hard enough. To make things worse, after the last hearing the firm dropped me as a client and told me I would need to retain them again (pay more) if I wanted further representation. After investing over a year with them, that felt like a huge letdown. Overall, I would not recommend Ohiku Law Office. Having gone through two attorneys with them (first Jada Davis, then Giancarlo Mora) and seeing little to no progress in my case, I can honestly say this was not the strong representation I expected or needed.

Matthew Torres, professional with a heart and soul. He took on a case from the public defenders office, due to PDs high caseload. His defense for my son with a Felony I etc. was fair. Matthew returned phone calls from me, literally in 15 hours or immediately. My son has developmental disabilities, due to FAS etc. and an ischemic event that occurred during birth or in utero (my son is 32 yrs old. He was born at 26 weeks.)Matthew always explained everything to my son but included me and my husband, with our sons permission,( we are his parents by Adoption) I would recommend Matthew Torres for any type of defense. He is caring, but highly professional. In my opinion this is the person you want for your defense, he’s on your side, no matter the circumstance. No more jokes about Lawyers!!! I’ve never been so impressed. I’m grateful and we as a family applaud Mr.Matthew Torres and OHIKO LAW FIRM. THANK YOU

Ohiku law office is refusing too give me all my things including my retainer fee they did not represent me or come too court with me they are telling me too bring the police with me too get my paperwork they cannot steal my money from me I will be bringing the police with me and going live on the NEWS I do not recommend this law firm

Lawyer Ohiku and his team are the most amazing law office i have ever worked with. I have worked with previous law offices in the past and nothing was being done. This law firm told me they could make things happen and at first just like anyone i was skeptical and they proved me wrong on so many levels. They got things handled and have my back 100 percent behind my case and i couldn’t be anymore grateful. I would recommend this law office to anyone that needs an amazing law firm. They were amazing in assisting with out case, being and out of state client I was worried at first since I was trusting them with a lot as I couldn't physically be present to fight a civil matter. They handled it rather quickly and with favorable a outcome.
