Spoke to an associate from intake In September .He was highly disrespectful and dismissive regarding my case. I spoke about disability related discrimination that I faced from my landlord as well as exposure to black mold to me and my service animal. I was accused of simply trying to seek funds when I told him how the initial discrimination impacted me. Anyone with common sense can tell you that if you're discriminated against just because the company or person does something like granting a accommodation request does not take away from the legal fact that you were STILL discriminated against. It's significantly impacted me. He kept telling me that he wasn't an attorney while actively being dismissive and telling me things that weren't within his wheelhouse. Keep in mind I didn't ask him about his input regarding the case. I was simply just stating the facts of it for intake and he said to me well they granted you the accommodation What are you looking for money!? Sir, what I was looking for was accountability for illegal actions... My case is multifaceted. I just wanted to see if the Oliver law office might be able to assist.
