I've been a member of the Omaha Bar Association for thirteen years. The OBA has always fostered a close-knit community of attorneys in Omaha. The organization constantly puts on great events that are well attended. And the continuing education opportunities are endless, and keeping them in an on-demand library is super helpful. Any attorney in Omaha would greatly benefit from becoming a member.
Being on disability with no money it’s very disappointing & disheartening that there are no pro bono or lost cost lawyers to help me.
If you are looking for an attorney to help you pro bono or at a lower rate on a civil legal matter, we recommend contacting Legal Aid of Nebraska at 402-348-1069, or submit your legal question on the Nebraska State Bar Associations Free Legal Answers at https://ne.freelegalanswers.org/, or find resources and potential help at the Nebraska State Bar Association's Volunteer Lawyers Project at https://www.nevlp.org/. All 3 are great resources for members of the public who cannot afford an attorney.
