We had a great experience working with Pamela Manuel and the entire team at Pandit Law. Pandit Law retained our firm to perform environmental testing for one of their clients following a fire loss. The scope included a damage assessment along with carbon soot and heavy metals laboratory testing. Because of the substantial lab fees associated with this type of work, timing was important. On February 13, 2026 — with Mardi Gras parades about to roll and traffic throughout New Orleans becoming nearly impossible — we were unable to make it to their office. Pamela stepped in without hesitation and personally went to our bank to deposit the check so we could keep everything moving forward. Would highly NOT recommend! Had a settlement over a year ago and I have yet to receive my funds. Back and forth nonsense between my mortgage company and the SBA has been an absolute nightmare! PL has totally dropped the ball communicating with me at all at this point they are not responding to my emails. I am paying 1/3 of my settlement to these people and they can't even bother to make a monthly phone call to me, or even respond to my requests for info. Now I am the one dealing with the mortgage company and SBA because apparently PL does not know how to handle when there is a duplication of benefits/loss draft involvement. At this point complaints to the BBB, the LA state bar association, and reaching out to my local representatives are my only options while my >50k awarded amount sits somewhere in purgatory. Actually getting my funds has been more difficult and has been way more work on my part than taking the insurance company to court and winning the settlement from my home insurance company...I guess that was the only 'easy' part to this nightmare. If they actually had good follow-up and communication I would have given them 5 stars but at this point they are very lucky to get 1.
