Nothing steals a person’s peace faster than loosing a child, a friend’s child and almost loosing two more children in a single wreck. Then to have the initial investigation state that your child was the cause . . . In my 58yrs. of life, I have never had to deal with such an emotional and destructive mess. In my shock and disbelief, I scoured the internet for help. Parker & McConkie was the only lawyer website that I felt safe with. I left them a message received a response within hours. They assigned me to Brian Stewart quickly. That was November 2023. For the last 20 months, he patiently guided my wife and I through the nightmare. Brian was remarkable, sympathetic, supportive and validating. He helped us to feel secure, assured and validated through the whole process. He was a guiding light for sure. There were 2 other parties that were part of the wreck, whom by hearsay, were the real cause of the wreck. But, because of modern lawfare and DEI policies, the other two parties did not get charged. The whole event was placed on my child unfairly. Thankfully the judges had compassion and my child received a very light slap on the wrist. Brian was very wise and perceptive. He guided us through to the best possible outcome. My feelings of unfairness and frustration became validated and content. Brian is a wise, caring lawyer. His legal team were supportive and helped a great deal as well. If I could, I would give them 10 stars for sure.

I can summarize as overpromised and under delivered. Subpar communication and no genuine prioritization of the needs of their clients. It almost seems like I would have been better off dealing with the insurance company rather than getting a lawyer who doesn’t care and doesn’t try. Seems like my case was more of a pay day for them than it was holding the other party accountable. I would look elsewhere for someone with better negotiation skills than a toddler not getting their way.

My husband and I were in a bad car accident on our honeymoon. We chose to work with Parker and McConkie on the accident claim. The best way to describe our experience is; Parker and McConkie over promised and under delivered which was made worse by awful communication. The relationship began well, they helped us set up physical therapy and gave a good recommendation for re-establishing primary care. It was after the initial offers were submitted that communication stopped. Yes, the tactic of insurance companies is to drag their feet and delay their responses to see what you will do. I get that but the lawyers could have told us kept us updated even if it was to say there is nothing to report. We instigated 90% of all communication and 50% of the meetings they arranged for us were rescheduled at the last minute. It was like pulling teeth. It was at least 3-4 months after initial offers were submitted Parker and McConkie set up a telephone meeting with us. It was only at our request, did they give us a step by step update of their negotiations. They described their negotiations to us and they didn’t have our backs at all. When their first offer wasn’t accepted they dropped their offer by 60%! They didn’t even try to make the insurance company meet them!The 60% offer wasn’t accepted either and our lawyers dropped another 30%. They said on multiple occasions they did not feel the insurance company was giving us fair offers and they would keep trying. However, at this point they had already proved to the insurance company they would eventually give in with a lower offer. The insurance company waited us out until we could not wait anymore. Finally when the offer from the insurance company wasn’t changing, Parker and McConkie talked to us about litigation and assured us we could get a better offer even though it was a longer and more expensive route. We said let’s try it. It was this decision that got me my first phone call from our lawyer, up until now all communication went through our paralegal. The lawyer called only to talk me back out of litigation. By the time we paid additional legal fees our take home pay would essentially be the same as the offer now. We settled. Any chance of getting a fair offer had been ruined. I regret choosing Parker and McConkie. However, the real blessing is, we walked away from a really bad accident. The money we got back did cover quite a few debts including the debt accumulated by our wedding. I am so grateful my husband and I get to move forward.
