Let me start by saying that I had the best team by my side. This has been such a long journey for me due to fear, fear of my children being taken away from me. Fear of having to pay a ridiculous amount of money in spousal support and then covid happened, that was just another setback. My team was there every step of the way. Always answering emails or calls quickly, I never felt rushed, my concerns were always addressed. Thank you and your team for fighting for me. You are all greatly appreciated and I’ll forever be grateful.

worst choice i ever made to go with this firm. They are not at all transparent with their fees and without informing you, turn the $3500 deposit into an over 10k bill. I spoke a total of 3 times to the actual lawyer during this time and she was late to the one and only hearing we had. Anything I requested for them to do fell by the wayside and never done. Wish i would have checked the reviews first.

I couldn't be more happy with Patricia Barberis and Team with the handling of my recent divorce. Not only am I pleased with the actual case handling and negotiations, but with the human element of the process. Pat is very nice lady but she did not help me with my case . I had a difficult situation and we should post phone the court till everything will be more clear but she did not suggest it . She did not advise me not to sign the custody agreement which was very bad and when I show it to the other lawyer she was surprised that my lawyer did not advise on that agreement. I did not like the service and nobody cared about me and my situation but they never forget to charge me for the service . I am filing to the state BAR of CA and will take her to the court as well I will make it public and talk about her in social media and TV. I am looking for people who this SUPER lawyer who could not even determinate jurisdication bettwen USA-CA-MA damaged the case . Plesae contact me , this woman must NOT practice the law . This is not TRUE I have a retainer contract I have retained you back In January 2023 and you failed even read the agreement and simply yiur advice MUST be " put it in the hold". I had no wish and desire to retain you again this is A HUGE LIE again and I will write about it in my complain , also you have receive a refund in amount of 5K and you helo my funds for your " professional work". Tell how could advise to sign something like this , you knew he lives with my child in MA not In CA and he sue me in CA , Why ? Its not legal. I was where in Russia its our of jurisdictin and was I ok to even sign this document I have filed the police report and the detectiv told me that this is just NONESENCE. You will be taking to the court and I will show how you destoyed my life , tomorrow is my daughter's 7th birthday and I do NOT even know where is she is she ok, happy and healthy. Thank you for destroying my life and violating my child's rights. Its just so pathetic and not professional . Just horrible !!!

Worst mistake ever. Barberis Law will drain you financially and leave you worse off. Don’t be fooled by the 5-star Google reviews. Many appear to be friends and family doing them a favor. For authentic client experiences, check Yelp. The difference is clear. In my experience, Patricia and Colleen Barberis demonstrated serious issues with billing, case management, and professionalism. The billing was unacceptable and outrageous, full of errors, inflated charges, and nearly impossible to follow. The firm was disorganized and inefficient, making countless mistakes, missing important details, offering no real strategy, and giving advice that at times felt misleading or even harmful. There was no transparency. Critical information was hidden, causing cases to drag on. When concerns were raised, instead of addressing them, the response was combative and defensive, shifting blame onto the client and even labeling them “ungrateful.” Classic gaslighting. The only thing Patricia stayed on top of was making sure invoices were paid, often with the warning that if they were not, the firm “couldn’t represent you.” In my opinion, their conduct raises serious ethical concerns and reflects misplaced priorities. It is easy to spend $100k in a year and end up worse off than when first hiring them, confused, vulnerable, and in an even weaker position. Note to Patricia Barberis: Please do not respond with a generic comment such as “we care and understand.” Based on my experience, that is not accurate. These concerns are genuine and reflect systemic issues that prospective clients deserve to know. Avoid this firm at all costs.

Divorce is not what I wanted for anyone to experience , it signifies the end of the marital union and entails the division of assets , responsibilities. It can evoke a wide range of emotions , including sadness , anger ,relief and confusion. It’s essential to have a lawyer who not only understands the legal aspects but also provides emotional reassurances. Colleen Barberis have done a wonderful job of making me feel comfortable and so the Patricia Barberis , Kayla their paralegal and Angie and so with all the rest of the staff. They made you feel you are a family .Their guidance on providing necessary details shows an attentive and collaborative approach. Navigating a divorce can be challenging, but having the right support makes a significant difference.
