Awesome lawyer

He is attentive and goes out of his way to help when you find yourself in need of his assistance. He keeps you informed and is not closed minded to listen to your suggestions towards your case. He even helped me keep my dog while I was in county jail. And was able to keep me informed about how she was doing. He also put some money on my books so I was able to make a few phone calls. He went out of his way to help me and I am forever greatful!

Typical Good ol' Boy. Hire him if you want him to work against you instead of in your best interest...sadly, with most attorneys in this area, you can say the same.If you're a woman, he might actually pat you on your head & tell you not to worry your pretty little head about it. You're much better off knowing the laws, standing up for your rights and representing yourself. Placer County & its nefarious legal system is a crying shame, but I'm holding out hope that is soon going to change. Malfeasance is something that is going to have to change.

Paul comiskey is a true deserver of my appreciation. He analyzed all the police reports and noticed the discripinies the district attorney was not investigating and held them accountable. Everything played out well due to his wise advice the case was dismissed before it went to trial.

Paul is kind, respectful and understands the law. I did not feel rushed or unheard. Good Job, Paul!

Paul was very professional, dependable and reasonably priced. He went above and beyond expectations to fight the case - and ended up getting charges dropped. Highly recommend for a no-nonsense lawyer who gets the job done.

Paul is a consummate professional working within a criminal system that is flawed to say the least. He does his absolute best on every case, well at least on my case.

Paul Comiskey has been working with my Fiance and I for a couple months now. He may not be out of jail (yet), but he sure isn't in prison! Paul has come through at every hearing, has kept this ball rolling, and at an affordable rate; especially, given our circumstances. Thank you Paul Comiskey!

Paul is a nice man, he is reasonable and knowledgeable. He is older, sometimes forgetful, but hands down you are in way better hands than with the public defenders office. He had an impressive career was a law professor at USF. He is a former Jesuit priest and was a champion for abolishing the death penalty. I have nothing but mad respect for him. We used him for a family members case. He has a good rapport with the placer judges and has a great courtroom presence.

My family back in 93 used Mr comisky, the outcome was horrible,i do not feel he did everything to prove innocence,an innocent man went to prison an died,he was given much to prove the innocence but it never was shown in court, clear an convincing evidence,i called his office one day,an the woman I spoke with clearly said horrible things clearly showing perhas his office was in fact bias an prodigious on the crime he was paid $2000 to handle, thats wrong, ive not given up to this day to prove the strong innocence that was there an still is,all this was not justice,so I still fight.

Response from owner

I am very sorry if someone in my office was rude to Ms. Simmons and I humbly apologize. Since it was twenty-five years ago, I don't recall the details of this case. However, I would be glad to come meet with you and discuss it if you would like to give me a call. 916-577-0696.
