Be careful what you say in front of adam because he will stab you in the back. He works for himself not his clients. If you've got $$$ get someone else. Don't do it you will end up with NEW charges for saying how you feel about being harassed.

Adam was just excellent. I had been gaslighted by a company I worked for who forced me to resign. Adam listened to my story and immediately told me I had a case, the company had blatantly broken the law, and they likely did so because I'm autistic and they thought they could take advantage. He was kind and genuine and super knowledgeable, and I'm so grateful I found him. The cost over 2 years (sometimes the legal process takes a while) was also very reasonable. Far less than I expected to pay. I really can't say enough; he was the only one who listened to me and believed my story. He got a great settlement for me but more than that, he got my dignity and self-confidence back for me.

Within the first 10 minutes of my consulting call I was told that Mr. Pechtel would be unable to assist me in any legal proceeding as he focuses mainly on employment issues concerning large corporations and businesses. He also mentioned that he's only interested in cases in which he knows he'll win, and ones in which he knows that he will get paid (he used an example of a case in which he did 5 years of work only to have a party in the case file for bankruptcy). I wish that he would have declined my meeting after reading my case notes (that his firm requested) and not taken my consultation fee. He had the ability to see would have seen that my case is not against a large corporation or business, and could have redirected me elsewhere. After working in a law firm and using a lawyer before the lack of empathy that Mr. Pechtel displayed through out our 40 minute call was disheartening. I have been around those in the legal profession previously, and have seen other lawyers treat their clients (and those that are just calling to get an initial appointment) with much more grace and curtesy than I received. No one wants to use a lawyer, and many of us do so as a last resort during a highly traumatizing or stressful time. I'd encourage those who are looking for representation to go elsewhere.

Good customer service

At the initial call, the receptionist wanted to waste my time filling out a questionnaire when I just wanted to know if the lawyer handled a particular type of case. (Response to the owner) Or, Mr. Pechtel, you could revise your procedures to have your receptionist have the ability to be courteous by saying either yes or no - or, "I don't know if our lawyer handles that type of case, but I will defiantly ask and have him get back with you..." No. just the questionnaire - to which I say, "next lawyer please..." moving forward.

Adam is an honest and principled attorney who isn't afraid to fight for his clients. If you need help with an employment issue, give him a call!

Gave me attitude for telling him my case is winnable when he said it wasn't. Glad I didn't have to pay the whole retainer (why it's 2 stars not 1). Guess what? I negotiated the case with out a lawyer and settled to my benefit. Mr. Pechtel... It might be my opinion you are arrogant, but it's a matter of record that you were wrong.

I requested an appointment through the website and filled out the information needed. A day or so later they ask for more information and I sent full details if everything and haven’t heard back in a few days so I decided to call and now they say they can’t help because he is t accepting new patients! Terrible! I just gave all this person information out and “I”have to call just to ask what’s going on or why they haven’t contacted me. Terrible communication skills

The attorney was a honest person.
