WARNING! NOVEMBER 29, 2024 ITS BEEN ONE YEAR SINCE MY HUSBAND WAS TAKEN BY ICE AND DEPORTED. MY HUSBAND WAS LEGALLY HERE 9 YEARS NEVER BEEN IN TROUBLE, NOT EVEN A SPEEDING TICKET! BETWEEN PETER BARUCH NOT GIVING EVIDENCE OR FIGHTING HIS CASE THEN MIRIAM AIRINGTON-FISHER NOT FILING A HABEAS CORPUS AS PROMISED MY HUSBAND AND MY FAMILY LIFE HAS BEEN DESTROYED!!THESE LAWYERS WORK WITH THR PROSECUTORS !! ITS ALL CORRUPT AND ALL ABOUT MONEY!! Peter Baruch is NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE and he cost my husband 21 months of his life wrongfully incarcerated!! My husband went from a man who has never been in trouble not even a speeding ticket to having 4 felonies!!! All because we chose the wrong lawyer!!! We are fighting the case in appeals and it has cost us 25,000 more dollars and is harder to fight all because this man Peter Baruch DID NOT DO HIS JOB!!!! He gave NO EVIDENCE, none of us testified, my husband was told not to testify when all other lawyers told me he should. He believes in letting the prosecutor have to prove beyond a shadow of evidence his client is guilty so he does not prepare for the case to fight it. He knew hardly nothing of my husband's case. Julian did all the work and only spoke a little because Peter has big head syndrome!! This man took 12,000 dollars and to this day 1/10/2023 he has not said he was sorry nor gave us any of our money back. I warn you do not hire this guy. He lost my husband's trial on September 21, 2021. He was given all the evidence needed to win, he subpoena me and 2 others and had none of us testify. This man is arrogant, rude and doesn't listen. The whole 9 months he was more worried about getting my husband to take a plea than learning about the case. His assistant Julian Viscidi is the only one who knew anything about the case. I have never seen such a sloppy job done in court and he lost our case which was so easy to win. The prosecutor played a video showing my husband lock a door at 7:54 If Peter would have spoken up and said keep the video playing at 7:55 the jury would have seen my husband unlock the door and customers in and out all night. This was a serious case and he didn't care. He did not try to win. He laughed and talked to the prosecutor during the 2 day trial. He spent the 2 hours while the jury deliberated he was with the prosecutor office. He was given everything he needed to win and didn't use any of it. Now this new lawyer has cost me 20,000 and we are appealing this due to habeas corpus. Please be warned and do not waste your money on Peter Baruch. He refused to give me back my money and now I am going to fight him through the American Bar Association. A child could have done better in court to have won our case. Thank you. Peter Baruch represented me in two cases one in Hanover county one in Louisa county both circuit Court Mr Baruch was by far the best lawyer I have ever had, him and his office were always very responsive and easy to talk to never had a problem with getting in touch with him over the phone or in person.
