Lauren has been very unprofessional, lies and doesn’t follow through with what she says. Do not use this firm.
For cases that are high conflict this is not the lawyer your family should hire. I had a very disappointing experience with lawyer Lauren Walchli and her paralegal Alicia Wright. Lauren consistently undermined my opinions and requests, displaying a judgmental attitude. Her delayed responses and lack of communication severely impacted my paternity case, which was already complicated by my self-representation and ongoing legal issues in Arizona. Despite gathering evidence to support my claims about the other party's residence, Lauren dismissed my information and failed to provide timely updates. Alicia's disorganization was apparent, especially when she provided me with an invalid code for a crucial hearing. I was forced to contact the court myself to obtain the correct code just moments before the hearing, highlighting her negligence. During the UCCJEA conference, crucial information about the other party's residence was overlooked by Lauren, leading the judge to question why it hadn’t been mentioned earlier. Ultimately, I was able to prove the other party's current residence, and the court ruled in my favor, establishing Oregon as the home state. After the hearing, I decided to part ways with Lauren’s practice. Since then, I have successfully secured 80/20 parenting time, obtained my son’s passport, and arranged for his school drop-off and pick-up. The new agreement has provided my child with the stability and structure he needs. I cannot recommend Lauren Walchli’s services based on my experience.
I had a great experience working with Doug. From the initial consultation to the eventual settlement of my case, he guided me every step of the way and clearly explained my options. His communication was excellent throughout the entire process!
Doug is an awesome attorney to have on your side. I am so glad I hired him to help me navigate my divorce case. He is extremely detail oriented, straight to the point and gets back to you quickly. I hope I never have to hire him again (lol) but I would recommend him to anyone.
They're taking care of my family-related legal needs. Easy to talk to and very pragmatic.
Good people.
I spoke with Doug regarding a child case. He seemed more focused on other cases he had in the pipeline then trying to help me with a suitable resolution to my issue. We parted ways with me losing 125$ consulting fee and no closer to understanding what to file then before I spoke with him.
Working with Doug Peterson was a great experience!! He is very knowledgeable of the law and fought very hard for me. Most importantly he listened to me and treated me with respect. I would recommend him to anyone .
You need a 'Pit bull' of an accident attorney? My att from my car accident is beyond the best. He's so 'Great', 'Fantastic' 'Blow your mind' 'Amazing'! He got me the max $$ & even got more (the max also) from 'My' auto insurance! I don't know what loop hole, but he knows all of them! See Matt Kehoe in Hillsboro, Ore. Tell him I sent you!
I have worked with Doug on a Family Law issue for several years and I can say that he is great. He knows the judges and lawyers in Washington County very well and can likely predict how things are going to go fairly well in advance. He does a very thorough job preparing for trial and he really knows his stuff. Family matters are never much fun, but having a strong advocate on your side helps in getting through them.
greg is great
I'm sure there might be other partners at this firm who do good honest work, but my experience with Lauren was anything but pleasant. She was abrasive and argumentative with the client and didn't do anything to help the outcome of a child support case.
