Attorney was too busy to attend the hearing, somehow she thought it was for a different day. She offered to go over everything via zoom the night before but she did not call or send a zoom link. After a sleepless night I contacted her in the morning where she tried to change course last minute and attend via zoom which did not happen. She also told me that having her there would not change the outcome of my case. The judge was very unhappy and asked if I wanted to proceed without my attorney. I was very disappointed as the defendants attorney filed something last minute the night before and I was left there to deal with it myself. I let her know both of these things and received no response. I would not have hired her had I known this was going to be how I was treated. Fortunately my work covers my attorney costs so I'm not out of pocket but I will be researching my options on how to deal with this.
