This guy is only interested in the easy money and he certainly moved forward on a case for profit that he knew was unethical and then decided to try and influence our future council.

Mr. Dowden was absolutely amazing! I'd give ANYTHING to have him represent my husband and me! Unfortunately, he doesn't deal with corrupt Jasper County, much like every single other Jefferson County attorney! These are not Mr. Dowdens exact words, btw. I'm not paraphrasing him. Mr. Phillip Dowden gave us top-tier advice, and in doing so he made us feel 110% respected & did not even in the slightest look down his nose at us, instead he made us feel good about ourselves & helped us probably more than he even realizes! This man is nothing if not kind, down-to-earth, extremely knowledgeable in his field, & anyone would be super blessed to have him represent them! He's very straightforward, doesn't beat around the bush, tells you what you need to know & there's no bs with him. I spent all but 30 mins with this man & left his office liking/respecting him soooo much & wishing more than anything he could be our attorney. Phillip wanted a quick uncontested divorce. It has and is still costing me thousands of dollars years later to pay for my ex wife’s negligence. He did nothing to inform or protect me from things like vehicle repossessions, lease agreement termination and etc. even when the other party has no legal representation. however, he is glad to accept a cash payment and give you a receipt from his own personal cash receipt book that his office doesn’t record. Hope he and his wife had a great vacation on my money! They were going to the casino. Since then I’ve had to shell out more than double what I paid Phillip to try to fix it

I recommend Phillip he’s a really decent price we been looking for lawyers to help us and we hired him. He is really good he had my husband case and help him with his case won it with no problem. My experience here was so good. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. My lawyer took his time addressing my concerns. He was polite, honest, he listened to me and eased my worries by taking me through the process step by step. There was no pressure into making any decisions. He made me feel confident that he could take care of my needs. You won't regret stepping foot in this office. 10 years later and I couldn't have chosen better!
