Having started two company’s and running a third we have worked with a fair share of attorneys and law firms. John Mertens is by far the worst lawyer I’ve even had the displeasure of working with…. If you hire him or use Pia Hoyt I’d suggest getting a malpractice attorney as well.

Victoria and Melanie were amazing. They offered excellent advice and their attention to the urgency of our case was beneficial to achieving a timely resolution of our case. I highly recommend their services!

Excellent attorneys for complex legal matters. we have worked with them over the years, and have found them to be competent, responsive, and creative. Worth every penny!

Stay very far away from this firm. Spoke with one of their lead attorneys regarding a client non-payment and copyright dispute. Their lead attorney (and partner) called my client and told me the client was willing to settle and gave me the pricing. Told me he had been drinking whisky that day and was "in a very good mood". I provided the document he asked for to finalize the settlement with the client. Upon not hearing from him as promised I contacted him the next day and despite talking to me 3X and supposedly calling the other party less than 18hrs prior, he pretended to not remember who I was or what this was regarding at all. I can only assume this was either the beginning of his dishonest and unethical handling of the case, or was because he was so drunk he could not remember anything from the day before, or both. After being lead on for several more days he asked me to draft an email for him to send to the client, which I did. I called him back and he told me the email was good and was sending it to the other party and their whole team within 30min. After following up because he was unresponsive for several days, he then attempted to change the terms of his agreed compensation in a very extortionate way and then told me he never sent the email to the other party as promised because he was "not comfortable with it". To re-iterate this email he was not comfortable with was the very email he asked me to write (instead of writing it himself like he originally promised) and the very same email he told me he read and sounded good and promised to send. When I attempted to reasonably and professionally address these issues with him, he made excuses and attempted to attack me in spurious and illegitimate ways to try to absolve himself of his wrongdoing. This is literally the most unprofessional attorney I have encountered, ever. Despite attorneys needing to be held to a high standard of honesty he was extremely dishonest in very material way almost every time he spoke to me. Again, stay very very far away from this firm. I have worked with hundreds of attorneys and have not once encountered one that was so flagrantly dishonest and deceitful. I am not sure how they even have a license to practice. Really, he is very very bad and does not abide by his professional ethics guidelines at all.

We had a very professional and efficient experience with Pia Anderson Moss Hoyt law firm. Tony Grover in particular was wonderful to work with. Easy to communicate with and really personable. I would absolutely recommend him.

Tony did a great job handling my case. I could have never achieved the same results alone. I recommend him highly.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Tony Grover and PAMH. Mr. Grover’s depth of knowledge is staggering. He and his staff proactively updated me on how my case was progressing. Finally, they were fearless in their representation of me and my family. I could not recommend them more!
