From the moment I met Dr. Alexandre Piquet at a roadshow in Brazil, I immediately noticed his professionalism and experience. And that was evident throughout my treatment, which was a success. I thank the entire team and highly recommend them.

I went through the EB2 NIW process with Piquet. From the beginning, I made it clear that I would only start the process if there was no risk of my son, then 19 years old, being left out. This is because, if the process suffered delays or there was a prolonged retrogression, he could turn 21 during the process. Even so, I was repeatedly assured that this risk did not exist, as the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA) would guarantee the necessary protection in case of retrogression. My I-140 was approved in less than 20 days, but, as retrogression did occur, and my action date took more than a year to become current, my son ended up being left out when he turned 21. And I only found out about this when I was summoned for the consular interview, because his name was not on the summons. In other words, we spent 5 months thinking he was in the process, but he was already out. No one at Piquet even noticed this. The scenario I had warned about and questioned several times ended up happening exactly as I had predicted. I have emails where I reinforce this concern and receive categorical responses stating that there would be no problem. It was a serious failure in guidance, whether due to incompetence or pure negligence. Given this, I ended up giving up on the consular interview because I obviously wasn't going to leave my son out, and we lost the visa. Even with this obvious error, they never returned a single dollar. In the beginning, they are very cordial and attentive, but when problems arise, they let you down. They don't go into detail. The applicant has to constantly research and self-guide. If ChatGPT had existed at the beginning of the process, I wouldn't have gone through what I went through. ChatGPT would have guided me better than the "experts" at Piquet. It was a huge strain for me and my wife. In addition to all the money invested being lost!
