Caring, attentive, responsive, and truthful. I am an African American man in my mid-fifties, a supervisor within the federal government, and I found myself being retaliated against because I protected a coworker who was being discriminated against. My agency's former Director of EEO recommended Pitre and Associates, so I called. Mr. Pitre was completely transparent and cleared up any misconceptions I may have had, and he fully explained the EEOC process and the rights afforded to me as a federal government employee. I have been treated with respect and dignity. As we went through the process of filing, I was retaliated against again, and Mr. Pitre jumped right into action and provided a proper defense during an oral reply to the allegations. Also, while preparing my defense with the firm's senior associate Ms. de Vera, my wife had an emergency medical situation. The sensitivity and actions they showed me revealed the passionate side of the firm. The only thing I regret is that I didn't seek his guidance when the issues I am experiencing first started. Thank you!!
Mr. Benson, thank you so much for the wonderful review! We absolutely strive to provide the best service possible, so it warms my heart to hear when we've reached that mark. Thank you again!
Marcus Pitre was extremely rude and doesn't deserve business. If he helped you out, bless you and glad you got the help you needed. My case is a strong case and exactly what the firm works on, I already have other options but I reached out to multiple firms at the same time and Pitre returned my call. He asked what I needed help with and I began to explain my case, the same way I did with over 10 other firms. This guy was the only one to cut me off the way he did-- i respected it, he said I was giving background details. Fine, I said ok I understand let me tell you exactly where the violations are even though I had just arrived to the violations. Every word I uttered after is exactly what other firms considered important-- But Marcus Pitre decided to cut me off again and tell me he's not seeing where the law is broken... you can't see it because you're not listening for understanding you're on some rude binge at this point. The heart of the violation was within my next next sentence but I couldn't get it out. And based on my previous intake calls and consultations with other law firms, what I was saying was necessary to mention. The moment he realized it when I could finally finish my sentence, I was no longer interested in his services. There are layers to my case and each layer strengthens it. Other firms see the value so I'll be fine. But that was an extremely frustrating and unnecessary experience. What a rude guy.
Mr. R, I'm sorry that you considered our conversation rude, however, there seems to be a disconnect to what actually occurred on our call. I let you explain "your case" uninterrupted for over 10 mins straight but at no point in those initial 10 minutes did you talk about anything of "legal" relevance. Sure, you explained the many gripes and communication issues you were having at your employment, but nothing of legal importance. I simply cannot assist a potential client if I don't have any information to use in order to provide "legal advice." At that point, I did interrupt and I tried to explain to you the type of information I needed in order to assist, but you would not let me speak. In fact, you began to raise your voice and told me to just let you "get a few more sentences out." So, I did. I let you speak uninterrupted for another 4 mins and at which point you still had not gotten to anything of legal substance. At that point, I interrupted again to try and get the information I needed. You once again screamed at me and then hung up the phone. If this is one-star treatment, then it is what it is. I wish you the best of luck with your case.
I can't thank Mr. Pitre and his team enough for helping me with my legal matter. I found his law firm using a google search and I was very grateful and very pleased with all of the services the firm provided me. Mr. Pitre and I had several conversations about my legal matter. He took the time to explain to me the process and was honest about the various options and outcomes. Throughout the entire phase Mr. Pitre kept me well informed. I provided five stars to the review because the level of honesty, professionalism and legal expertise exceeded all of my expectations. Legal matters can be stressful and scary, but Mr. Pitre and his Associates can provide legal advice and help navigate you through the process. I highly recommend contacting Pitre and Associates for your employment matters. I am very satisfied with the services I was provided.
Mr. Campbell, thank you so much for the wonderful review! It was an absolute pleasure representing you and I'm very happy we were able to resolve your case to your satisfaction.
⚠️Warning ⚠️ do not use. They will feed you a pipe dream and drain you of all your money. Harris Federal actually got the job done and cared.
I do not know who you are, or if you've ever been a client of this firm, so I cannot provide you with a proper response. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
Professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable! If I ever need help again, Attorney Pitre is the first call!
Ms. Kirby, thank you so much for the positive review. It was a great pleasure representing you and I'm extremely happy we were able to resolve your case to your satisfaction.
⸻ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot thank Attorney Marques Pitre enough for the exceptional work he has done on my case. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond—not just as an attorney, but as a coach and mentor. He patiently educated me on how to think critically about my responses and how to carry myself with confidence and clarity throughout the process. His passion, professionalism, and personal investment were evident every step of the way. Although we have not yet received the outcome of the case, I felt compelled to share my experience. Attorney Pitre approaches every detail as if he’s advocating for a member of his own family. That level of care and dedication is rare, and I highly recommend his services to anyone seeking legal representation. You will not only have a skilled attorney by your side, but also a compassionate guide who truly cares about your well-being. SP
Ms. Powell, thank you so much for the kind words. I really appreciate when my efforts are not tied to the results of a case, and a client knows that I've given it my all. These are the reviews that make the long nights and early mornings worth it! Thank you again.
I received a quick response when I reached out to Pitre & Assoc. and was able to speak to A. Marques Pitre esq., one of the managing partners within one day of submitting a request to talk about a potential case. His advice was spot on and it was very apparent that he knew the exact legal analysis and law concerning my potential case. His consultation was free which was an incredible value. If you are a federal employee and need someone who knows employment/disability issues, this is the firm to go to. Easy 5/5 stars!
Chris, thank you so much for the kind words and excellent review. I'm happy that I was able to be of assistance. If you ever need our services in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out!
I am extremely grateful for the exceptional service I received from Pitre & Associates, LLC. From the beginning, they were incredibly helpful, upfront, and honest with me. They provided clear, transparent communication, which made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. The team truly went above and beyond, fighting for my best interests when the agency involved was attempting to be difficult and less than transparent. I always felt supported and confident in their dedication to my case. I highly recommend Pitre & Associates, LLC for anyone in need of trustworthy, reliable legal representation. They were truly a lifeline during a challenging time.
Ms. Dominique, thank you so much for your kind words and wonderful review. You were a great client, and it was a pleasure to represent you! I'm very happy we were able to resolve your case to your satisfaction.
I 10000% do not recommend you to anyone. As long as you saw my previous review. You need to do better for your business. It's not just about taking people's money. This is people's lives and career. You took an oath. Do BETTER.
Ms. Jen, my firm goes above and beyond to achieve the absolute best results for our clients, and although I cannot go into specifs, we believe that we did an awesome job on your case. However, you have every right to feel differently. I wish you the best.
Underwhelmed Thank you for your reply. To clarify, my "underwhelmed" review stems from my experience during our brief interaction. I reached out seeking assistance with what I believed to be a discrimination-related matter. Before I could fully explain my situation, you immediately dismissed my case and stated that your firm could not assist. While I understand that my case may not fall within your firm's specific area of practice, my disappointment lies in how dismissive and uninterested you appeared to be in hearing me out. Furthermore, when I asked if you could refer me to someone who might be able to help, you declined without even taking the time to assess whether my situation might align with someone in your professional network. It’s hard to understand how you could determine you were unable to provide a referral without fully hearing the details of my case. Following our call, I contacted several other attorneys, and while they also recognized my matter wasn’t within their purview, they still took the time to listen and provide helpful guidance. One attorney kindly directed me to a consumer rights lawyer, which turned out to be exactly what I needed. Their willingness to listen and help left a lasting positive impression, despite not being able to take my case. My review was based on the perception that your focus seemed to be on whether my case was immediately profitable rather than on how you might assist me as someone seeking help. Had you demonstrated a genuine willingness to listen, even if only to direct me elsewhere, my experience would have been entirely different. In the future, I hope you consider being more attentive and kind to potential clients, even if their needs don’t align with your practice area. You never know how an act of kindness can shape someone's opinion of your firm and lead to future referrals. I certainly would have remembered and recommended you to others had my experience been different. Thank you for the opportunity to provide clarity, and I wish you all the best moving forward
Good Afternoon Ms. James, so that I'm clear, you are "underwhelmed" because I explained to you that my firm is an Employment Law firm and that we could not assist you with a potential discriminatory event that took place on a flight? Or are you “underwhelmed” based on that fact that I could not provide you a reference to a “general” discrimination attorney? I take my reviews very seriously, so the fact that you would leave this firm a 1-star review based on a 1 minute call where I explained we couldn't help you with your case (even if we wanted to), because it is not our area of practice, is extremely disappointing.
Attorney Pitre, I am forever indebted to you. You did not hesitate to take my case. From the beginning you were very caring and patience with me. Thank you so much for taking my case and believing in me. When you accepted my case it was already 11 years old and I had multiple Attorneys working on my case. In one year you accomplished more positive results on my case than all the Attorneys who worked on my case for 11 years. I realized in my second conversation with you that you were definitely a cut above most Attorneys. You’re so busy and may not realize it now, but you are a brilliant Attorney and you’re in a class by yourself. You actually care about your clients and you’re always looking out for their best interests. Not all Attorneys are like that. It’s not all about the money with you. We need more Attorneys like you. At all times I was kept well informed of what was going on in my case. Thank you so much for settling my case and getting a very positive outcome for me. I am so delighted. This case has taken a toll on me but you have helped me to overcome it. I am truly grateful for you. I would not hesitate to recommend you for future legal services or obtain you myself in the future. I would also like to thank Attorney Coy and Attorney Sascrimenti for all there assistance and your staff. Attorney Pitre you are truly a blessing and I appreciate all you do. Again, thank you so very much for everything! V/r, Victoria
Mrs. Floyd, thank you so much for kind words. I'm very happy we were able to resolve your case to your satisfaction. I also want to commend you for continuing to fight for 11 years to achieve justice. Many people would have given up, but you persevered. I'm grateful it finally worked out in your favor. I wish you nothing but the best!
If you are looking for a strong lawyer who will aggressively fight for your rights; Senior Associate Michelle de Vera will be the perfect lawyer for you. I can attest to this. I truly appreciate her walking me through the complex EEOC process. What I was going through was bad enough, our discussion/talks gave me peace and relief, but most importantly peace. I will refer Pitre & Associates any day and especially, Senior Associate Michelle de Vera. L. Sands
Thank you so much Ms. Sands! We truly appreciate the kind words, and I’m even more happy we were able to resolve your case to your satisfaction.
From the moment I place my call to Pitre and Associates, I was I good hands and cared for with exceptional professionalism and empathy. Attorney Michelle De Vera was knowledge of EEO law was the driving force on my case. I would highly recommend Pitre and Associates to others. Thank you Pitre and Associates for being a Lifeline to me during a very dark time. I am eternally grateful to the entire Firm.
Thank you so much for the kind words! We're very pleased to have resolved your case to your satisfaction.
*Mr. Pitre and associates were amazing! Just their advice alone will steer you in the right direction 💯
Thank you so much for your kind words! So happy we were able to assist.
Horrible!!! Do not waste your money hiring this lawyer. He does not care about your case. I got 2 of my claims dismissed because he did not care to even ask me for more evidence. I foolishly trusted this lawyer to properly represent me and this is what happens. Luckily I have a chance to still fight one of my claims. This guy is a rip-off!!!
Ms. Amara, is it dissapointing that you would get on this forum and blatantly say something that you know is untrue. I provided you documentation showing that we did request additional information from you, however, you were unable to provide it. You are correct, you are be able to move forward with the one claim where we had enough facts to substantiate and argue, and was successful in that argument because facts are what matter most. As I stated, I wish you the best of luck with your case.
Do not hire! I made the mistake of overlooking previous experiences of others due to hope, and the results yielded extreme debt and unprofessionalism. I felt like I paid for us to be a defendant of theirs rather than a partnership in Justice. Find someone else.
Hello Mom Rogers, I’m sorry to hear about your experience with the firm. I would be happy to discuss further, however, I will need to know who you are, so I can understand better where things went wrong. Please feel free to email directly. My hope is that I can rectify your concerns. Thank you.

Ms. Childs, thank you so much for the kind words! I'm very pleased we were able to resolve your case to your satisfaction. If you ever need anything in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Please stay away from this law firm. Mr. Pitre did not believe in my case but took it on and of course took my MONEY FROM the RETAINER TO THE settlement offering. He gave me a final bill that took the whole retainer and more than have of the extremely small settlement amount that in the end he NETTED MORE THAN ME. I was sent a check that was less than if I work 80hrs in two weeks if I had of still been employed with the company he was so called representing me against. Oh and let me tell you he never called to say he received any money on my case and did not close out my case by calling as a professional lawyer would have. He just sent a final bill and check saying that under Laffey Rate law he could charge me more to keep my settlement. Not only he is a terrible lawyer to deal and I feel keep my settlement but he also treated his staff bad he fired a Paralegal that was working my case then to tell me that he had no proof of any evidence to support my case. But I had given several items and names of people to support my case to the paralegal. Oh and he also told me not to contact her on her phone number.. His demeaner is terrible. From the first call he talk at me and down to me as If I did not know anything. ( yeah I know guys I should have walk away from first call. So I am warning you DONT CALL. This is not a true statement in my case: You will find this on his website: If you are an employee of a private business or public institution and believe that you have been affected by workplace abuse or discrimination, you have come to the right place. At Pitre & Associates, LLC, our trusted team aims to correct the wrongs committed against all types of workers, and we exclusively practice in the areas of federal employment law and private sector Title VII discrimination claims.
Ms. Nelson,

It is extremely disappointing that almost 100% of your review is dishonest. I explained that companies pay “nuisance settlements” all the time and that it was unlikely you would receive a large amount. I’m sorry you’re disappointed with the final amount that you received in settlement, however, I was able to get you back everything you paid the firm plus some. I consider that a victory considering your allegations and the lack of supporting documentation we had to support those claims. I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.
Excellent firm. So impressed. Few attorneys are as helpful, sincere, knowledgeable, and caring in an initial consult as A. Marques Pitre. For free, he got to the heart of the matter that I was consulting him about right away, and gave me specific information that immediately helped me. The manner in which he did so was so polite and so informed that I could tell he was an expert, and he never made me feel like my questions were silly, especially those that were related to sensitive matters. Outstanding customer service and professionalism.
Just from the initial conversation. He seems genuine but told me I should have asked him what article do I have. I was taken aback because I'm not the lawyer nor am I a paralegal so it left me baffled. For my grievance he told me that my heritage/ethnicity wasn't protected therefore I wouldn't have a standing with my filings. Which I myself know to not be true. It seems to me that he should have taken my information did research and comparison of other cases then got back to me. But I guess he's looking for an easy win case. Not sure. He did give me information as far as the time length and how long one has to file complaints. That was appreciated but just him telling me if I would have asked him what "articles were then he would have explained is mind blowing. I responded this is what the intakes are for. It would have alleviated unnecessary talking it gets the information needed and both parties can decide if they want to move further.
Ms. James, I'm sincerely sorry that you were unsatisfied with our initial consultation, however, your recollection of our conversation is inaccurate. I never asked anything about “articles,” I asked you what protected classes you were basing your allegations against your company on and initially you couldn't answer that question, so we begin to discuss the different protected classes recognized by Title VII; race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, etc...I'm disappointed that my explaining this to you caused you to write a negative review. I do understand that was not something you wanted to hear, but it was my honest and accurate legal opinion. I do wish you the best if you to decide to pursue your case.
