I regret choosing this workers’ compensation law firm. From the beginning, the experience was marked by unprofessional and dismissive behavior from caseworkers. They were often rude or short with me, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a client seeking help during a difficult time. Every time I reached out for clarity or reassurance, I was met with impatience or vague, unhelpful answers. There were almost no proactive updates on my case. Weeks and sometimes months would pass without any communication, leaving me completely in the dark about what was happening. I constantly felt confused about the status of my claim, what steps were being taken, or whether any progress was being made at all. Any information I did receive was inconsistent or unclear, which only added to my frustration. The delays were exhausting. Simple questions took far too long to be addressed. Instead of feeling supported, I felt ignored and unheard, as though my situation wasn’t important enough to deserve attention or urgency. I expected guidance, advocacy, and professionalism, but what I received was the opposite. Overall, the entire experience left me feeling that my case was a waste of time and energy. Rather than easing the stress of an already challenging situation, this firm added to it. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, respectful, and communicative legal support.

The worst recommendation ever. They were not for me. I don’t think I have talked to a real attorney, only assistant attorney. You are warned.

Never hire these lawyers, they never answer you and never return your calls, they are incompetent.

Hi my name is Ivan Corral I'm currently using this law firm I'm really disappointed and I feel very misrepresented by this firm. I've been getting the run around on two different specialist one ortho and one GI dr . The reason for not being able to see these treatment specialist they have been given me is because the adjuster hasn't authorized them .yet yesterday I received a letter about a dr at concentra needing to evaluate me for a second opinion when I don't even have a first by the specialist I don't understand why the adjuster wants a second opinion. There's something very wrong here. Anyway there is so much to complain about i just don't want to waist my energy. This law firm has really been unhelpful to me and my case not to mention the firm don't even have copies of my dr medical records I'm very disappointed. My recommendation is that you should really look at reviews for a better understanding of who you allow to be part of your life during a time of need. I don't recommend this place. Remember you have to depend on your law firm to be by your side for as long as it takes to get back to your life. Ps I'm waiting to schedule an appointment to speak to Johnny the man representing me

I engaged this firm 4.5 months ago and have not spoke to "my" attorney since hiring this firm. My case is coming apart at the seams and I can't even get a call back. I'll be forced to file a complaint with the California State Bar Association. My experience with this firm is basically ghosting, I signed with them and they ghosted me. You do not want a ghost for an attorney! Don't make the same mistake I did, run, find someone who actually returns their clients calls and works on their case.

Re: Workers Comp. I am not pleased with the services I have been receiving. I guess I’m not sure of what kind of services I have been receiving. They have told me one thing and then another. It’s quite scary in fact that they have case workers who aren’t competent in helping and I feel they are harming my case. I think because I call a lot and question them, or told them I no longer wanted them to represent me at one point, I feel like they aren’t really trying. Apparently the lawyer had a a meeting with the defense lawyer but case worker said they are unable to give me documentation that it happened. The reason why I questioned this because while I was on the phone with one case worker another called me so I put it on hold and the other case worker was telling me contradicting information. I’m losing trust. I’ve seen not just this law firm but others with the same issues: misinformation, miscommunication, & misguidance. So I highly recommend you do your research before you just pick a law firm. I actually went through Larry H & Parker and PLB called me so I never sought them out. But I regret it. It’s hard to believe everyone else’s 5 star reviews.

PLBH Law was great in helping me get through the confusion of getting injured at work and getting paid fairly for it. Even though workers comp can be a slow process from beginning to end, someone always called me back in a reasonable timeframe for all my questions when I called the office to set a scheduled time to speak with someone regarding my case. Ultimately, Mr. Quinn explained how to best go about settling my claim & I definitely recommend PLBH !

EDWARD C. HINOJOS is the worst lawyer you could possibly get. Do not recommend, he did nothing for us, when we needed him to be on top of our case he wasn’t aware of anything he actually jeopardized the case by completely ignoring to advise us of the importance of certain steps we were supposed to take, at the end he took his percentage but did nothing for my husband and I.

I’m starting to not have faith and be very disappointed in the services my never before talk or met attorney representing me has shown!!! I have a pending settlement from my previous employer since November we agreed. Was told there was a hearing 11/25 that got cancel however staff made me wait and think it did take place . I found out by checking on the EAMS WEBSITE for updates and case search information. Even after the secretary had lied to me stating it did take place and to call back once the attorney would put in notes regarding a hearing that never happened!!! Supposedly they are awaiting settlement documents to go over with me . Not sure if those documents are going to take a year!! I have not received no more treatment other than therapy that did not help , no income since end of September. My car payment is behind 3 months, this law firm seems to not care at all to represent you!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

They don't care about communicating or helping you. My mother is still suffering while these guys mess around with our money!

Worst experience ever, they will "Not" fight for you. When you call them they put you on hold and send you to voicemail. I’ve left so many voicemails and not once have they returned my call. And to top it off they sent my information to the wrong insurance company 🤦🏼‍♀️. Due to their negligence it set me back another 6 months. I only started working with them since April and they keep telling me over and over that they are waiting for the adjuster to approve a new doctor. This whole time the adjuster didn’t get any paperwork because they had the wrong address 🤦🏼‍♀️ Forget about speaking to an attorney. They do not care about your case, they do "Not" care about getting you a good settlement. I have not received not one phone call from my attorney Lizbeth. Save yourself some time and headaches and get another attorney.
