Hired Jordan Fanney to handle a custody/child support case. Spoke big game in the initial consultation and we learned throughout the process he had zero intention of fighting on our behalf. He was unprepared, knew little details of our case after MONTHS of being charged for his “preparation”. We were quoted $8-10k for both cases (more if we went to court). We paid him over $20k, never went to court, never even prepared for court , and he negotiated away everything i asked for in the agreement without my permission. He began aggressively charging after he saw my financial info for the child support case. Billed for 3 hour calls that never took place??? He had my wife and myself doing all his research and paperwork as he said this would “keep costs down”. When we questioned him he became combative, defensive and frankly snotty. Contacted the partners at the office with our concerns and was dismissed by them as well- no surprise while interviewing new representation we learned Jordan has a reputation among local lawyers for being “lazy” and “afraid of court trials”. Those are direct quotes from more than one attorney we interviewed after parting ways when doing consultations and reviewing our current custody order that now has to be amended. Oh did I mention he never even handled the child support case? So $21k for a poorly written agreement that is worse that what we were following WITHOUT and order prior to hiring him.

I had reached out to Brooke Plumlee PC in search of legal counsel, I received a call from Bryan Plumlee himself, he was apologetic that he would not be the right fit for my case but took the time to point me to the right direction of who could help me. He was nice and cordial and I very much appreciated his time and help.

Todd Rothlisberger and Amber Boyd achieved nothing for us, except to set up a payment plan that we could have set up ourselves. No tax relief whatever. Poor communication. Feel very much jipped. Do not recommend - seek other representation.

I gave them 1 star because I called to get my remaining balance to pay off. Their accounting person was awful and rude. She did not know what the fees are being charged for nor the remaining balance that I would had to speak to the lawyer handling the case to get the final balance. That was fine but why be nasty and rude if clients are asking. They really need to train their front office or accounting staff better customer service or how to properly talk to clients better. My husband called a second time and asked to speak to a specific paralegal or lawyer involved in the case to get the final balance and they mistakenly transferred him to this accounting person they had again. She was soo rude and spoke to us both slowly like you are talking to a 1st grader like we did not speak any English. I do not know if it’s because of our last name but we both were born in the states so there was no need to belittle people that are trying to pay off their remaining balance. Makes me think she speaks to all foreigners this way and everybody should be spoken with respect regardless what race, former or current client. We will not be using them ever again for any services knowing they have rude and nasty accounting or front office staff that are not properly trained. I will also be telling others I know about this awful experience.

I recently found out, I had a serious matter with the IRS. For a couple of weeks I tried to get a referral for either an accountant or attorney with tax problems experience. I know 100's of people... none. I started calling out of Google results. I called about 10 in the area. Mr. Rothlisberger called back within 24 hours. I explained my urgency and a couple hours later he had accommodated an appointment 2 days layer. I received 1 more call back. They could see me 2 weeks later. No body else called back. During the appointment, I was able to talk... explained my situation, which I thought was complicated. Ms Boyd sat on the interview too. They explained my options and he even clarified some other wording on a different contract, which I had shown to 2 other attorneys and they had not explained what it meant. I hired them and was able to resolve my issue within the time they said it would take. I highly recommend this company and the professionals mentioned above.
