Lead Atty Jon David delegates to Shelby Mackenzie and Paul Sauls , Tim , 4 Attorneys no results I retained this firm in October 2024 to file and pursue a federal civil lawsuit. That was the primary reason I hired them. Between October 2024 and May 2025, I paid approximately $79,000 in legal fees and was later billed an additional $12,000, bringing the total to over $90,000. Despite that, no federal civil complaint was ever filed on my behalf. My case was passed between multiple attorneys. I was told the complaint would be rewritten several times. I was billed for internal conferences and revisions, yet the lawsuit never left the office and was never filed in court. The complaint drafts I received did not reflect the issues I originally brought to the firm. After months of billing and no filing, I requested a refund so I could seek new representation. My request was denied. As a result, I am left without a filed case and without the financial ability to retain new counsel, as these funds represented my last tangible asset.

I worked with Jon David at Poole Huffman on a long and draining case involving fraud by a contractor who, from day one, believed he could outsmart everyone. The facts were clear and the case itself was fairly straightforward, but the defendant, a self-proclaimed expert in contracts, litigation, and just about everything else, went to great lengths to delay, deflect, and manipulate the process. Most people in this situation would’ve walked away, absorbing the loss because litigation often costs more than the recovery. Jon was honest about that from the start. But for me, this was personal. This fraudster put my family at risk and it wasn't about the money, it was about doing what was right. I didn't want this fraudster continue to cheat others out of their hard earned money. We just ended a federal court case in which Mr Todd Poole was our lead attorney and he definitely gets my recommendation. Todd was fantastic in his preparation, understanding, and presentation of the facts which were instrumental in the success of our case.
