I submitted a request for case evaluation via the form on the firm's website, and promptly heard back the next business day. Although Posternock Apell was not able to take my case, as I am just outside of their area served, I'm appreciative of the fact that Maddie (I hope I'm spelling it right!) gave me a second call back to provide me the resource I needed to find an attorney in my area. It would have been just as easy to lose my number when they determined I wasn't business they could bring in, or even just close the loop by telling me they couldn't help, with no additional advice. I've always found that the small things like that speak volumes about professionalism and character.

My wife and I worked with Mr. Apell for a somewhat complicated real estate transaction. Mr. Apell and his staff expertly guided us through the process, took their time with us, and were always there for us. They were the silver lining through a difficult process. In the end, we got our house! We could not be happier and are grateful to the entire office. This firm was hired by a relative to handle my grandparent's estate. They were rude- we would ask questions and offer help and they would belittle us. They are extremely unprofessional- they had numerous errors in their "fact finding," including names of people who did not exist. They charged the estate for things like reading emails, but said lawyers read them (charging a higher hourly rate) when paralegals were solely involved in communications. They actually admitted manuy of the charges were unnecessary and removed them after many questions. The firm asked for personal information of a deceased family member that they did not need. If you want to deal with attorneys who operate with a lack of ethics, and you want to be charged to the teeth for things that should not be charged for, if you enjoy paralgels being condescending- this is the firm for you. If you prefer honesty and integrity you definitely want to skip this business.

Can’t say enough great things about this law firm. I hired Dan to represent me when my HVAC contractor walked out on me in the middle of my house construction. Dan and his team especially Diana Sever were fantastic! During the two year legal battle I had an easy time getting a hold of them whenever I needed to speak with them. They always made time for me and explained everything so well. They are extremely knowledgeable and great at their jobs. They are very organized and I never had a problem meeting any court deadlines. They take the stress off your shoulders and they WIN! They won me a great settlement with over 50k! Do not hesitate! Hire and trust them!
