don’t help, after telling them a bunch of information there's chances that your case will not get picked so overall a waste of time, your better off paying a actually good lawyer in payments that will defend you no matter what.

After jumping through hoops and giving VERY personal information, I find it very frustrating to be told my case will be taken and sent to the McHenry office. Just to be told, sorry, we do not have enough staff to help you. Thanks for the false hope. I have less than a week now to find assistance. If you can't take every case, you shouldn't lead a person on by proceeding to the next level just to be turned down.

Everything bad that I had heard about Prairie State Legal was ABSOLUTELY TRUE 😡. They were extremely rude. They were not helpful at all. They acted like you were a bother to them. I am a 64 year person with a disability on a fixed income which is what they "CLAIM" is the exact type of client that they are here to help. I was facing eviction and not only did they NOT choose to represent me, in their so called "Investigation" to determine if they were going to represent me, Ms Katie Pinter acted like it was a bother to look into the Merritt's of my case, every time we spoke it was as though she was trying to find reasons why the case could NOT be won. She acted like some PAID attorneys who will only take a case if they fill confident they will win inorder to get their 33% of the settlement. If in fact they are there to help people with low incomes and disadvantage people, she sure didn't act like it! I would advise everyone to seak an alternative source of representation and in addition to that I would advise NO ONE to donate to them. In their advertisement they seem to be an noble advocate for disenfranchised people but in reality it's only a money making scam to get kind hearted, good people, to donate to a helpful organization when they ABSOLUTELY ARE NOT!

I had a Landlord file an eviction for failing to pay the first $300 of the cost of a roof repair. I contacted PSL and Gautham Kaveti was assigned to my case. The Judge dismissed the case(thanks to Mr Kaveti) but the LL wasn't satisfied and filed eviction again requesting a different Judge. Mr Kaveti worked tirelessly on both my cases and we won!! Mr Kaveti is an awesome attorney and great at what he does. The staff at PSL (especiallyTheresa) was extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend this office to anyone who wants great representation. They work above and beyond for you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a very good experience. The lawyer that represented me, Ms. Tara Was very professional and she did an excellent job. I am very grateful for the service they provided me. I would recommend them all the time. I am very pleased because every time I would present myself their was so much respect, and professionalism. And the person who would interpret for me in Spanish was very kind, and I could understand everything. I’m very grateful with the people that represented me. I am successfully divorced.

Called for help, was not able to receive which is fine. What wasn’t okay was the rude disgusting woman on the other end of the call who had an attitude and tried to hang up on me after I asked for more information. When I asked her name she claimed it was Brenda, which was not the name she said in the beginning of the call.
