⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to recognize Ms. Tessa Carey for her professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication. From the very start, she demonstrated that she is organized, thoughtful, and genuinely attentive to her clients. Even when scheduling issues arose, she handled everything with patience and understanding, which immediately put me at ease. Her guidance has been clear and thorough, and she communicates in a way that makes complex legal processes understandable. I truly appreciate how she prioritizes her clients while maintaining a professional and respectful approach. It’s clear that she cares deeply about doing her job well and supporting those she represents. I highly recommend Ms. Carey to anyone in need of competent, attentive, and ethical legal support.

I know this video came out a year ago. Michael Bowman needs to be fired. But watching it pissed me off. When a supervisor says it's a private office if it's a private office then they need to start paying the utilities rent everything. Then we don't need to pay if they pay it's a private office. It's sad empathetic how these people acted in the video. If you don't like being on camera go get a job at the private district. That day would you walked away you pay should have stopped. Find you guys walking away from your job and yelling at a cameraman. You should have been clocked out because we pay people to work not walk away. And if you have a problem with camera go work at a private district. There's plenty of people that'll do that job. With a smile on their face. These guys are unprofessional uneducated and if they don't know the law first amendment and all that how are they going to defend you when you go to court? All I'm saying is these people need to be replaced and they can go find other jobs. I can only hope in the last year that Glenn and people getting fired have changed. I'm hoping they all got fired. I hope that the whole office is someone new

I have contacted my public defender for over 2 weeks now, and she has still not gotten back to me. What is the point of appointing someone a lawyer, if they never respond. Waste of time and beyond unprofessional.

Very rude and refused to let me get more than a few words in. Hung up before I could even say more.

Mrs. Pirie, I am extremely greatful for your hard work and dedication! I know it was kind of a slam dunk because the D.A. didn't file in the timeframe they needed to do so in, but you found out the important things!! I hope that you continue to kill it at your job and continue to help people in need! YOU ARE AN AMAZING PEROSON TO HAVE AS MY COUNCIL!!!! Thank you again!!!!

The ladies at the front do call you immediately, the issue is the wait time to actually be seen. But you can always be seen at The Melting Pot downstairs:-)

I was extremely impressed with both public defenders that were appointed to represent me throughout the last several Months. Both Div. G and Div. 1 attorneys were top notch and deserve to be noticed and recognized for going above and beyond to assist me with my cases. They were both immediately responsive, helpful, and most importantly, present to advocate for me during the entire process. They treated me with kindness and respect, which isn’t always the norm. I was so impressed with their organizational skills and their ability to stay on top of everything with so many cases on their workload. The system isn’t perfect , but it’s better because of their genuine effort and willingness to do things the right way and with a sense or urgency. Thank you ladies !

I am grateful for the treatment I received from them, especially from Mitzy. She was very cordial and helped me with everything she could, and I was able to receive the services of a public defender.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Ashley at your front desk during a recent interaction. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling disrespected and frustrated at a time when I was seeking assistance regarding my brother’s case. When I informed Ashley that my brother had been admitted to Cedar Springs Hospital, I needed her assistance in looking up necessary information. Rather than providing the support I expected, she was dismissive, rude, and displayed a poor attitude throughout the interaction. Her tone was unprofessional, and she seemed unwilling to help, which came across as a result of laziness or indifference. As someone reaching out during an emotionally difficult time, I found her lack of empathy and professionalism extremely disappointing. I believe all individuals seeking help through your office deserve to be treated with respect, patience, and understanding, regardless of the circumstances. I kindly request that this matter be addressed to ensure others do not have similar negative experiences. The services your office provides are essential, and the attitude of staff members can significantly impact the overall process.

These public defenders are awful at their job. It's probably why they couldn't become real laywers. They all have a smug, awful , condescending and arrogant attitude towards the people, the public and anyone who goes in their office. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Also check out their attitudes. It's on public display

I just watched a video of this office and it's clear everyone in the office distains the public! They are smug and unwelcoming.

The application process was smooth and easy. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful and very kind. Thankful for these resources.
