Steve has helped me with the estate of my husband. We have dealt with it for 3 1/2 years. He is so patient and understanding of your situation. He listens to what you want done and how you want it done. He kept me out of court until the other party forced it. His rates are very reasonable. He cares more about the person involved than making an extra dollar for himself. Also, he is always available to either speak with or meet with. Allot of lawyers use their girls as go betweens and never talk to the client. Steve doesn't do that. I highly recommend Steve Wandrei as an attorney for your legal needs. His girls are great too. Best attorney in Bedford. Steve is caring, affordable, empathetic, and very intellectual which is hard to find in a lawyer, especially these days.

We retained him to handle our parents estate about 2 years ago. He listed the house for sale in Roanoke despite it being in Forest. He has refused to communicate during this entire process. He hasn't spoken with us, Bedford Commissioner of Accounts (Jeff Hubbard) in months despite demand letter from Jeff demanding an accounting. Steve has had roughly $80k of our money from the liquidated assets. By his and Jeff's own account, there are no debt demands. He refuses to provide an accounting or even proof of the the escrow accounts to anyone. He's hiding. He has lied constantly about sending us disbursements, the timeline, doing what he says he is going to do and everything else. He is a liar, thief and completely incompetent. He's a middle aged man who just recently got his law degree from a no-name school. If you get involved with him, do so at your own risk. This is a bad guy. His 'Good 'Ol Boy' legal friends can only cover and protect him for so much longer.

Knowledgeable, friendly and great value

Wandrei represented me on a case by coming to me and offering his services, he did great for me on a b.s. case. The 2nd time I needed him unfortunately he was no longer handling the case I needed him for otherwise I would’ve given 5 stars. He did however email me back giving me advice, which I really did appreciate cause other lawyers probably would’ve just ignored it like others have in the past. I highly recommend his services.
