I have delt with a lot of lawyers of all kinds over the years. Some will coddle you (while billing you); some will go out of their way to do mundane paperwork (while billing you); some will constantly call and talk to you about anything (while billing you). See the thread? Randell isn't the type to run to up a bill with unnecessary things. He is honest and doesn't blow a lot of smoke. He gets to the point, does what he needs to do, and expects you to do the things you should be doing. When I get the documents in order that he asks for, everything turns out fine. Just recently, I asked for his counsel on a new topic. He let me know that he could do it, but there was a better option for me. He even gave me the contact information for that option. I have never seen a lawyer pass off a client because it would be better for the client. Anyway, long story short. If you are honest, he is too. Be prepared for the no BS answer, even when it is not what you want to hear. If you do your part, he will do his part, and he won't run up an unnecessary tab doing it. I am a repeat customer, which is a first for me.
