I was fortunate to find and hire Mark for my multi state traffic case. His rates were very reasonable and he was able to get my case wrapped up very quickly. I would recommend him without a second thought.

I reached out to Mr. Rater about a speeding ticket and license suspension issue. He informed me that I may only have a small chance at fixing my issue and I felt any chance was worth it. In less than 24hrs he had my ticket reduced, my fine reduced and my license suspension overturned. He is thorough, knowledgeable, honest with expectations and a pleasure to work with. I was on a depressing situation due to an incident of confronting the person that almost killed me in an almost car accident on W Broadway. The other party’s parents pressed charges of assault on me for blocking a phone's camera, which is ridiculous knowing the other person almost killed me and hit my car. Because of my situation as a casual employee and a student, I was depressed that I would have a bad record and would never be able to defend myself properly without a good legal counsel. I contacted him via email and he responded promptly. It was like an answered prayer for me. He let me talk to him on his office phone and told him what happened. He was willing to help me in any way he could. From that moment, I felt that Mr. Rater had a big heart and I found a savior. On my court day, he showed up and presented my case to the judge. My case was dismissed since my case was no record in the system. After the decision, me and Mr. Rater part ways. I was embarrassed that I couldn’t give much to him, but I will never forget his kindness and compassion. I appreciate his legal help very much and I highly recommend Mr. Rater. Nothing short of a miracle. If you are looking for an attorney look no further. Mark Rater is absolutely amazing! My daughter received a ticket in Iowa, while attending school in a neighboring state and her license is issued in our home state. She thought she was doing the right thing by paying the ticket until I received a letter from Iowa DMV. I called Mark on a Friday and he asked me to send over all the information on Monday. In the meantime, my friend said I should call other law firms to just to get pricing and information. I left messages for 15 law firms. Fifteen! Not one person returned my call. I called again and left messages on Monday for the same 15 and still no returned calls! I did however get ahold of 2 attorneys. One told me to tell her to just not drive in the state of Iowa and the other that practiced for “40” years said there’s nothing that can be done. Well that was a lie. I sent over the information to Mark and he went to bat for my daughter. He didn’t just go for the bare minimum, he went above and beyond! Everything was reversed and dismissed!
