Brett has been a tremendous help while navigating the settlement of my workman's compensation case.

Ratto Law Firm in the Sacramento area allegedly forged my signatures on documents for monetary gain. After five years of having the case with this law firm. Countless depositions and QME's. Never seen a doctor through this law firm as I was told would happen, never went to trial as I was told would happen. Then all of a sudden after 5 yrs I get an email of a settlement offer that was not in my best interest along with email stating if I go to trial I will get nothing. Then to add insult to injury. I was told they are charging me a 15% contingency fee when I signed a 9-12% contingency fee in the law firms office in 12/2019. This law firm is fraudulent and do not have your best interest. They will lead you on for years and never follow through on anything. Do your homework when looking for a workers comp attorney. Keep all signed documents in your possession and get them notarized because they will allegedly forge your signature by copying and pasting into documents, and lie and say you signed them. It happened to me and I'm certain it has been done to others. Greed and unlawful acts that are upheld by the State Bar Association with zero accountability. I had proof of my original documents signed in Dec of 2019 and was sent the forged documents via email five years later in July of 2024 when I was offered a settlement offer that was worthless. I had emails to and from where this Attorney stated the new revised documents were not available when I signed the original documents. So how did my signature get onto the new revised documents? All this proof and the State Bar Association closed the complaint.

I have very bad experience with this firm, … It’s been 10 years already and the lawyer can’t settle my case… I am very disappointed😡.. every time that I call to his asistan never answer the phone o returned the messages. First they assigned me a lawyer who supposed she left the firm, then they assigned me another lawyer, He told me that he was great and trust lawyer. He is not, I don't know who he has been great for. In my case and the experience , he is not been good for me, to this date it has been 10 years and he doesn’t settle my case. This It is a nightmare!!!😡😡😡😖

Lawyer and there assistance or mangers don't return there calls and Unprofessional

Apparently I didn’t get much for an award or future medical help. Sense the award communication has all but stopped. I call and email but all I get in return is silence. I see the Dr. Monthly only to get my weight taken. No medical at all has been recieved

Horrible I've gotten hurt over a year ago and haven't received any thing and no one ever answers the phone this law firm is a joke and a scam

****DO NOT TRUST THIS LAW FIRM**** I wanted to hire this firm, they told me, INITIALLY, they could not take my case. A week later I get a call from this first THEY WANT THIS CASE.. I was set to go to trial on ureasonable delay. RATTO FIRM , I FOUND OUT TOOK a measly $1200 from THE DEFENCE FIRM ( LFLM ) and took my case OFF CALENDER. Then set me up in a SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT to PROTECT ( LFLM ) and BROADSPIRE from thier 2nd UNRESONABLE DELAY JUDGEMENT. I TERMINATED GARY the attorney , made them sign an agreement that they get NOTHING, NADDA Ultimately RATTO had to GIVE ME the money they took or be SUED for intentional conflict if interest. RATTO IS A SCAM LAWFIRM WORKING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INSURANCE CO. AND DEF ATTORNEYS pretending to be APPLICANT ATTORNEYS ****WARNING DO NOT USE**** DESTIE OVERPECK hid thier actions from the bar when REPORTED. I DARE THEM TO DENY IT!!!

I called for representation on a workman’s comp claim. No one returned many messages left. Or called with a decision on representation. Very poor service.

ABSOLUTELY agree with the newest posts. This place NEVER answers their phone or voicemails! I have not heard or be able to contact anyone in 4 months. Never even entertain the idea of hiring this firm. If you do, you will regret the day you made that decision. You've been warned!!

Im very patient and understanding things take time...but this Firm is NO GOOD!!! My case is on its 4th year. I've has no medical care in over a year. My last QME was in March, have heard or received nothing. I've called/emailed numerous times, no response. My attorney was switched without notice. Assistant switched without Notice. No clue whats going on at all.

They never answer the phone. I have called and left message after message and no one ever calls back and doesn't pick up. After leaving multiple messages over a 2 month period. I was finally able to one lucky day get through to someone and talk to them on the phone. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Very unresponsive and they do not care to help you out and meet your needs

I'm thinking they are getting things done. We'll find out soon Well guess not soon we're going on 7 years and really not very happy things could have been better communicated and the excuse that workman's comp is for the employer not the employee drives you nuts when you hear it 1,000 times and 7 years

Words can't explain how much help and support I got from my attorney Brett and his assistant. Having never dealt with worker's compensation I felt completely lost. Brett was understanding, extremely knowledgeable in his field, supportive, always on top of things, patient and actuaally compassionate (which isn't so common unfortunately). When you're in an unfamiliar situation, you have a thousand questions and I was lucky enough to be referred to Brett who helped and guided me tremendously. My friend who referred me, raved about Ratto Law because they helped her so much and she was absolutely right. I was doing a delivery in a vehicle that was involved in a 3 car accident. The back of my truck was slammed into from behind, causing the vehicle I was in to lunge forward into the car in front. I went to Ratto Law after an insurance claims associate told me that based on the data from the accident, it suggests no injury took place, despite already seeing a doctor who told me I was and needed further medical care for imaging, pain management, and physical therapy. I was in pretty bad shape, but my case manager was patient and worked quickly and efficiently to lay out the facts and process. My attorney was determined and fought in my corner.
