Steve Delaney represented the defendant in my divorce. Delaney continuously missed court deadlines which dragged the trial date out longer and longer. One of those missed deadlines was producing discovery. The discovery he finally sent over was one document that was nearly 900 pages long. In the final divorce decree, which Delaney drafted, he also requested to draft the QDROs, which are documents sent to retirement plan companies telling the company how to split retirement accounts. It has been nearly 7 months since my divorce was finalized, and Delaney has yet to produce correct QDROs. He seems to ignore follow up requests from my attorney. I estimate the amount of funds that I am to receive from retirement accounts is over $200,000. And it's being held hostage due to the fact that Steve Delaney will not complete his self-requested duties. Divorce is already a terrible experience and much of this has felt like legal abuse.

Steve Delaney is incredible! Steve and Val maintained a depth of professional and personal balance with my case. It was a Long, grueling path. Steve and Val always answered my questions and gave me reassurance and more importantly, Steve helped me understand what to hold and what to fold. The Mountain we chose to die on together through this, was the right one. If you are open and honest with Steve, he will get you through the biggest storms. Steve is a GOD in the court room. My custody battle is finally done. We are enjoying life because of Steve!

Got the feeling they're not interested in your less than 6 figure legal concern. Don't expect to be treated well if you're too small of a concern.

My current lawyer merged in with this group. I have had the same lawyer for 20 years and was skeptical at first, but I've had nothing bad to say and only good results. This is exceptionally great team and they go well and above what you would expect.

This law firm has been our rock. They are a well oiled machine, and our attorney is always extremely well prepared.

I write this review with great disappointment and frustration. I was referred to this firm by my first attorney who had to withdraw from my case because of a conflict if interest. While the attorney who worked with me at Reagan, Melton & Delaney was very nice, I only had contact with her about 3 times. Each time we went to court for a 20 minute pre-trial she asked for a continuance. Several months later, about a week before my trial was to begin, a separate attorney from this firm called and left me a message that my lawyer was on vacation so he needed to call me and tell me she was withdrawing from my case to become a judge. No one from the firm ever provided any direction for me after that. Finally I went to another firm that expedited the process and I was exonerated of charges. When I tried to claim my bond I was told the firm of Reagn, Melton & Delaney had taken it and I would have to go there to collect. I went to their office ( for the first time as I had never been asked to come there before even though I was going to trial in a week) and they gave me my bond less $5000 for their fees. I explained my case and that I thought the fee was excessive for the minor work they had done and the people up front (one was a lawyer and one was office staff) gave me a blank stare and continued to talk amongst themselves while completely ignoring me. I feel taken advantage of, ignored, and completely disrespected in an already difficult time. To others reading this please do a considerable amount of research before hiring an attorney.

I have used mr. Delaney a few times for different things. My most recent was for a custody of a minor child. I'm a father of a lil girl that I felt was taken from me. Me. Delaney is calm and cool and has his things in order when it comes to business, he's very professional and at the same time down to earth that shows he's a real person most of all he does not make a fake promise of what your hoping to hear. He did very well in my case and I'm more than pleased with the outcome.
