I felt like I wasn’t fully taken seriously and that I was the crazy person. They didn’t listen to my objections about the other party’s slander and didn’t fight for me as I felt they should. They did nothing to challenge the other party’s petition to the court. Also, I was misled as to what the settlement would be and ended up in a position that was detrimental to my health and safety. Later, while trying to get the other party to stop harassing me, they were going to send a cease and desist letter. I was never given confirmation that it was done, nor a refund for the remainder of the services, nor a invoice for services.

Very expensive. Very passive. UPDATE 2/05/2025: Everyone said Restovitch is the best firm in town, so I signed a retainer and paid a ton of money. On Monday, the attorney assigned to my case jumped ship to another law firm after 13 years with Restovitch. No wonder there was so little interest and action on my account. Big bill, but didn't consider the suitcase full of documents I presented to the firm. My lawyer left this law firm after being employed there for 13 years. That lawyer suddenly quit roughly one week after my first claims hearing? Wow. Was he looking for a job when he was assigned to my case? Do lawyers in Rochester float from firm to firms picking up jobs here and there? Nothing makes sense and they even tried to double the bill for their inaction pursuing my interests.

I was facing a 3rd Degree DUI charge that was the result of illegal expansion of a basic traffic stop by a young, inexperienced Highway Patrol officer. Dan McIntosh focused in on every detail and picked the officer apart at the Contested Omnibus Hearing. In turn all charges were dropped, and my license revocation was rescinded. I have multiple professional licenses with the State of Minnesota that were in jeopardy had I not won my case. DUI cases are winnable if you have the right representation. $290 just for a few minute phone consult, even my monthly bill isn't that expensive for unlimited talk, text and internet. I'm trying to discern if there are grounds for a lawsuit, where you'll probably take 20-25% of the winnings. A free consult is where you should be.

Unfortunately called and they wanted $290 just to see if the attorney could help me on a brief 10 minute phone call. Not sure if that is common but seems completely unreasonable. Will not be using them.
