This experience was heartbreaking for me and my mother. We were told by this attorney that I could get a green card in 14–18 months. Trusting him, we paid and moved forward with hope. Later, we found out from multiple other immigration lawyers that, for someone from Mexico, the process actually takes over 20 years. We felt completely misled. It’s clear now that he took advantage of our situation, knowing the truth and still choosing to give us false hope just to take our money. He made big promises, did very little, and left us feeling scammed. Please be careful—don’t fall for the same deception. What he did was not just unprofessional—it was cruel.
