I had some questions about my custody papers. He was very informative and helpful.

I needed help with a complicated multi-discipline elder care issue. Rob took the time to understand the complexity and made certain I understood my options. He further followed up a couple weeks later with some additional information and suggestions that added more optionality to my situation. I appreciated his candor, common sense approach, and thoroughness, as well as the rare follow up and concern he shared.

I called this “attorney” for legal advice regarding custody of my children. I got his information through a legal plan at work. He spoke to me very condescendingly and basically refused to help me. He was very unprofessional and rude to me over the phone. Would not recommend.

Possibly the worst lawyer I have ever had the displeasure of "working" with. Like the other 1 star reviews I see here, I was referred to him by the legal plan at my work. I was in another state at the time, and like another reviewer, he condescendingly asked if I knew who/where I was calling. I felt like he didn't want to talk really, but I let it slide, as it was through work coverage. When we moved to WI and finally met him, I began to have SERIOUS doubts. His "office" is the front room of a home (I'm assuming his). It was extremely cluttered and messy. He noted the things we were there for perfunctorily, and was rather rude during the meeting. I asked questions I had, and felt like they were summarily dismissed. When he sent paperwork for me to sign, it was filled out improperly, and I had to correct it. I decided to look at what the law said about my legal matter, and when I asked him about some discrepancies I thought I saw (in how to proceed), he replied, " if you think petitioning the juvenile court that your child is in need of protection and services because of her current situation (e.g. bad parenting) helps your situation, go for it. i think you may end up regretting that course of action. Actually you will find out that the juvenile court won't proceed at all". I had not suggested any of that, and it seemed he was calling us bad parents, which was as far from the truth as possible. I stopped communicating with him shortly thereafter, and he eventually sent me an email saying he was no longer going to work on my case. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, USE THIS MAN.

Robert Miller has been handling my legal affairs both for business and personal needs for several years. He has always shown an interest in what I had to say and what I was trying to get done. As an attorney he has been very professional and fair. I have, several times referred him to my customers and to my family as well. No complaints.

Just called this attorney to get information regarding estate planning. I got his contact info through a legal plan provided by employer. I called to find out what sort of information I would need to provide to him if/when we get together and what type of meeting would need to take place. Hey scrutinized everything, questioned the area code of my phone number and condescendingly asked if I knew where he was located due to my phone number. Demanded the information for my legal plan in the first sentence. Was not friendly. Seriously, treat people with respect. Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about. To be condescending and rude to a possible client/customer is pretty much unacceptable.

I cannot give 0 stars but if I could I would and i absolutely do not recommend calling here. I was referd to miller via work and when I called he was completely unprofessional and down right rude. He did not even ask what my charge was or anything about it and would not answer any questions. The jist I got was "I'm not helping you with anything until I am paid". The way he answered the phone was with a "Hello" mind you in an annoyed tone and not what I would have expected such as "hello this is so and so.....and so on". To say the least the second this guy answered the phone I was unimpressed. I dont expect a lawyer to show sympathy or anything like that but I do believe in being respectful and personable. Both of which I immediately could tell he was not.
