I attempted to communicate clearly and thoroughly to this firm the underlying facts and circumstances of my case, particularly as they relate to a personal injury matter involving my children. One of my children, who is only eight years old, has been diagnosed with Phelan-McDermid Syndrome and receives Supplemental Security Income (SSI) due to significant medical and developmental needs. Despite my efforts to present these facts accurately and in good faith, it has become evident that this firm is not prioritizing the substantive legal and civil rights issues at hand. Instead, their focus appears to be disproportionately centered on financial compensation and billing practices—charging by the hour or minute—without meaningful regard for the facts or the human impact involved. I guess, according to this law firm, personal injury doesn’t include your children. That message has been made painfully clear. It is deeply concerning that the pursuit of justice seems secondary to financial interests, and that the voices of vulnerable individuals, especially children with disabilities, are being overlooked in the process.
