I wasted my time and money by hiring him to represent me for a modification suit. He didn't do much except for filing the suit and getting the case mediated. He charged me $5000 retainer without providing me any itemized invoice. The modification orders were not signed by the judge and the "responsible party" never followed up on that. 4 years later when i tried to file another suit, the new attorney informed me that the last orders were never signed by the judge. It was after that I approached Mr. McInvale once again and he finally got them signed...4 years later. Total rip off!

Mr.McInvale is straight to the point and will not mislead you.He will fight for his client If you want someone to fight for you hire Mr.McInvale. Hired Reid for my divorce which was somewhat complicated. I appreciated his professionalism and no nonsense approach to my case. If you are looking for an attorney who will be direct with you and get the case handled in the way you want, then he is the one for you. The reviews of him being rude is so true. I guess he provide Free Consultation he feel he can just talk over you and not understand the case of the matter. I just move to this state from Arkansas and what impression on this state of Texas in Lubbock by far everyone in this state that I have come across is rude and not helpful at all. I wouldn’t recommend this Attorney to no one he want let you get a word out he will take one sentence and come to his conclusion. If I would have paid for a consultation would that have change him talking over me. So sad rude

By far the worst lawyer ever hired. Acted like a very nice guy till he got a 6,000$ check and the moment after started being very rude and judgmental. Does not help me understand a single thing in the case and causes drama between my whole family with his non sense. Will force you in to signing legal Court documents you don’t understand and do not want to sign. Very horrible person

Terrible Attorney! The absolute WORST I've ever met! He gave me very bad legal advice and did not care about my case at all! He was very LAZY and the Judge even had to tell him to "Stand UP" when he addresses the court because he literally wanted to speak to her from his seat. What a WASTE, I do not recommend him to anyone! You're much better representing yourself in court!

Mr. Mcinvale is an amazing attorney. He is very direct and to the point. No bulls***. If you want an attorney that isn’t going to sugar coat it, and get it done in the court room, this is your guy. Worth every penny.

I used Mr.Reid for a child support issue! The mother of my child was trying to get 50k in arrears enforced after we had an agreement not to have child support for several years. He is cut throat and knows his stuff. He will teach you what to say and what not to say, hes honestly so good that i didnt have to say a word at all in court. He comes prepared, left the mother of my child and her lawyer stuttering and upset! He is spendy but the money is well worth it if you want to get a win! I highly recommend him! Thanks again.

Mr.Reid is one of the best! He helped my boyfriend get out of being thrown in jail for a bogus amount of child support arrears the mother was trying to enforce! He is very straight forward and blunt, some say he is rude but i appreciated that part. He is a shark in the courtroom, you definitely want him by your side for the win! Thanks again!

We consulted several lawyers that told us it was impossible for a father to get a Standard Possession Order (SPO) for a child under the age of 3. Robert (Reid) McInvale made the impossible possible and proved them all wrong. Reid's possesses an expert knowledge in Child custody and he leveraged that knowledge in 2 court appearances to secure the father a temporary SPO and then later a permanent SPO. Prior to court Reid works with his client to ensure he has the information needed for a successful court appearance. Reid will not fill you with false hope and he will always tell you the truth, even if the truth hurts. Reid did a great job for our family and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking legal representation in a child custody matter. I would also like to give a shout-out Lawrence, Reid's legal assistant. Lawrence is always there to take phone calls and answered questions. He was a great help to us. This guy is no BS. Even I was scared of him. I had a motion to modify a court order filed by my ex that wasn't close to fair or in my favor at all. After my initial consultation with Mr. McInvale I immediately knew he was the kind of lawyer that would fight like I needed him to. Once hired, we had a long meeting and went over everything that we did before (and what I did wrong in my previous agreement), and made a plan to right-side my court order as well as respond to the new one filed. Mr. McInvale and her lawyer spoke outside of the court room and then all of the sudden we were going to mediation. Mr. McInvale then instructed me on how to prepare. After that, we didn't even make it to court, my ex and her attorney settled and what I got was even better than anything the first order gave me. I feel blessed to have found him and will definitely use him in the future, should I need it. If you have a Child Custody/Parental Rights case I could not speak higher of Mr. McInvale. If I could give him 10 stars I would!

Absolutely outstanding. As a father, I knew it was going to be a tough battle to win custody of my child. Reid is by far the most knowledgeable and consistent attorneys to work with. He is VERY knowledgeable in the laws of family court and knows exactly what to say and what not to say. He goes through and explains everything you need to know from start to finish.
