I chose RDL after they came highly recommended by both another attorney and one of my medical organizations, whose patients had wonderful experiences with them. I have several autoimmune conditions and was recently diagnosed with ME/CFS and Long Covid, which are notoriously difficult to document and prove. RDL was highly knowledgeable about these illnesses and knew exactly how to present the extensive medical evidence required. Their understanding and empathy of what patients go through makes them exceptionally strong advocates. Even before I signed with them, they stood out. Their responses were the fastest of any firm I contacted, and Michelle patiently answered every question. During the claim process, Kelli and Kristin guided me through every step with professionalism, skill, and warmth. Attorney's are very picky when they need to hire another attorney to represent them. I'm an attorney and needed representation in a very difficult disability case. I wanted one of the best disability lawyers in California and several attorneys highly recommended Michelle and it was soon apparent why - she's a brilliant lawyer and she's a fighter. She won my claim against a big insurance company. She helped me obtain social security disability coverage. When the insurance company decided to pay me a lump sum amount she fought to get me more money by questioning their methodology and won. When I needed an employment attorney she gave me an excellent referral and worked with them to ensure that my disability benefits were protected. At every turn over 4 years she won, won, won. I simply couldn't rate a fellow attorney any higher than Michelle. Amazing!

Avoid sending your details to them. They are a referral firm who will take all of your case documents and other stuff and refer to another law firm for a 25% commission of all the money that you will pay to the new law firm. They do not mention it anywhere. Poor business practice to share my information for getting a 25% commission without informing me the details.

Appealing claims with insurance firms is challenging. Appealing a disability claim as a disabled person is even harder. Roberts Disability Law enabled me to successfully appeal my disability claim. They told me what information I needed to provide, held my hand to get the information needed, and helped me put my best foot forward. The mental load they took off my plate was well-worth it and I recommend them to anyone who feels unsure of where to start with a disability claim appeal.
