I was involved in a case where Mr. Rockind represented the opposing party. Throughout the process, I felt deeply disrespected and invalidated by his conduct. He referred to me as “AI” in a dismissive and dehumanizing manner, questioned people’s authority in ways that seemed less about truth and more about making others feel small, and openly disregarded my experience as a victim. At one point, he even suggested that my account of nearly two years of harassment was fictitious or fabricated, despite documented evidence and ongoing legal action. He also challenged the truth of a child’s statement, something that deeply disturbed me, given the seriousness and sensitivity of the situation. While I understand lawyers have a duty to defend their clients, there is a line between defense and outright disrespect. I walked away from this experience not just hurt, but appalled at how easily someone in a position of power could use manipulation to distort facts and belittle those who speak up. If you’re seeking someone who shows professionalism, empathy, or a balanced pursuit of justice, I would caution you to look elsewhere. This is a response to the comment left on my previous review. I never claimed to be a client, I clearly stated I was involved in a case where Mr. Rockind represented the opposing party. My review wasn’t about the outcome of the case, it was about how I was personally treated during that process, and I stand by every word. That’s exactly what reviews are for. This wasn’t about “losing”. It was about how Mr. Rockind handled things, disrespectfully, dismissively, and without regard for basic human decency. Winning a case doesn’t excuse mistreating people, and how someone is treated during the process matters just as much as the outcome. Does someone speaking up about how they were treated really send this firm into lockdown? Because that’s what it felt like reading their response. Nothing I said was false, my review was based on my lived experience, my feelings, and real things that took place. I have every right to share how I felt being on the receiving end of that kind of behavior, and trying to twist that into bitterness only proves why it needed to be said in the first place. I didn’t write this to argue or start drama nor did I write it to attack anyone in this Law Firm or the Firm itself. I am openly sharing my experience. I shared what it felt like to be on the other side of Mr. Rockind’s behavior, and instead of acknowledging that, the law firm’s response reduced me to an “accuser” who’s just upset things didn’t go my way. That reply says more about their approach than it does about me. As someone currently in law school pursuing a degree in criminal justice, it’s honestly astonishing that I, a student, understand what real advocacy looks like better than someone already in practice. Real strength in law has nothing to do with how far you can push someone to succeed, it’s how well you fight without sacrificing ethics, integrity, or basic human decency. I strive to become a lawyer who can advocate fiercely without resorting to belittling or dehumanizing others to “ win “ or be successful in my career, because lasting success in this field should never come at the expense of respect. Kicking people who are already down just to come out on top reveals exactly where the real problem lies, and it isn’t with me. Finally, the fact that they threatened to have my honest review removed from Google only confirms how threatened they are by my experience being shared. If speaking up about disrespect and poor conduct sends a firm into lockdown,then maybe the problem isn’t with those who speak up, it’s with those who can’t handle accountability.

I can’t say enough good things about Neil Rockind. He took on my case involving an assault and battery charge and delivered a not guilty verdict after a jury trial. From the start, Neil was a powerhouse—sharp, confident, and relentless in fighting for me.
