I'm still waiting for my money back. At first, I thought they were very good lawyers. I had my case with them, and I had other issues regarding my husband's job. They helped me send a letter to the people who hadn't paid him. To my surprise, they sent a letter dated a year ago. I spoke with the lawyer who sent the letter, and she said that in her opinion, the date on the paper didn't matter. So I thought, "Well, if that's not important for a lawyer, then how can I trust them?" I still have the letters that were returned to me by the people they were sent to, with the date underlined by another lawyer who reviewed their case. I wonder what kind of lawyer could make such a mistake. And I'm still waiting for my refund. It's been several months now. This is the first review I've ever left on a website, and I hope it's the last. I don't like any of this, but I want them to be fair and give me my money back. That with much effort and work he put it together

My mom asked me to write this review on her behalf because of a language barrier. Mom did a Google search for a Spanish-speaking attorney to make a legal document that was legally valid/good outside of the USA, in San Salvador, El Salvador. Mom came across Rodriguez & Porter, LTD. She called & spoke with a lady who answered the phone, she spoke Spanish & mom explained to her that she needed a legal document that was legally valid in El Salvador & mom explained what the document was for to avoid any confusion. The lady said they could help her & gave my mom an appointment. Mom dropped off identification papers & other documents requested by Rodriguez & Porter, LTD. On December 3, 2024, mom gave the law firm the amount of money required to begin the legal process. Mom & my sister met the attorney [lady] the day they gave her the document that they led her to believe was a valid legal document that would be good in El Salvador as mom had explained to them. Mom gave the law firm the final payment. Mom sent the document done by Rodriguez & Porter, LTD to the attorney helping her in El Salvador, he told her that the document was not valid in El Salvador. Mom has called Rodriguez & Porter, LTD 6 times & no one has had the courtesy to call her back. Mom asked me to call, but said that once I told them that she's my mom they wouldn't talk to me or call me back if I left a voicemail... she was correct. They've not called us back, it has been almost 2 weeks of my call & 1 month of mom's calls. In the message I left [English], I explained that the legal document they made for my mom was not valid/good in El Salvador & mom wants a full refund or at least half of what she paid them, they've not called me back & they won't. It's a shame that a law firm knowingly tricked my mom. Not only because she's an honest & hardworking 75 year old lady, but because they take advantage of whomever they think is easy to trick. We've heard sad stories of Hispanics who have been scammed by attorneys because they can't speak English or they think every Hispanic who enters their office is here illegally & do not have anyone to defend them or help them. We're not all here illegally, mom & us are naturalized US citizens & are proud of being Americans, but saddened by people/businesses that behave like Rodriguez & Porter, LTD. Mom wanted others to know how this law firm treats people they deemed easy targets. PS. Attorney Rodríguez, I'm not able to reply to you via this format. I tried & can't. If you truly want to know, ask the Spanish-speaking lady, she knows & also the female attorney who made my mom's document. I've intentionally not mentioned the lady who answered the phone & the female attorney out of courtesy, there's no way I'll put my mom's name on any social media/Google platforms. In my review, I left enough info for you to talk to your employees.

Do not hire this lawyer. We paid him for a service he didn't provide, and he refused to refund our money. We feel scammed. You can't say you weren't warned.
